I love Elena and I love her style. Watching her class was a real AHA moment for me. I would rather take photos with genuine smiles and laughter than of cranky tense faces.

I would recommend it because it shatters a few misconceptions about building a lifestyle photography business that a newcomer like me battles on a daily basis. So much information on the internet and just so much of it is false and should even apply. But we do, we waste our time and resources on pursuing phantom myths about the business and we suffer. Our families suffer. Elena addresses some of those misconceptions here and gives you some tips and models to follow to help navigate as a new start up business. She made me feel like my passion for this is not misplaced and to keep going. This isn't an all encompassing tutorial on everything you need to have a successful business. If you are looking for that, you won't find it...and heaven help you if that's your goal. But, it does do what it says it will do. Help you learn and understand the necessity of posing in a lifestyle shoot and implement poses that will put you and your families at ease and on the path to a successful session. I'd definitely recommend it for it's price point. It was very useful.

Can't say enough about Elena and her classes. Love how personal she makes her sessions and how much control she takes in her sessions! This class has a lot of helpful tips and tricks - even for someone that has shot for a while.

Excellent course and great teacher. I love how clear and conscience she is. I also appreciate how she gives specific examples of her work, and step by step instructions on how she sets everything up. There are so many tips that I will be incorporating. I would highly recommend this course.

I just LOVE Elena's photos, style, approach, personality, and teaching method. I have bought both her CL courses, for the value for money you couldn't go wrong. I have several other CL teachers to get my technical skills polished, I won't look at Elena for that but for sheer inspiration on how to translate one's vision for natural looking family pictures into reality Elena is the "guru." She and Chris Orwig have inspired me. I could listen to them all day. She shares everything she knows and gives you the confidence that you can do it. I was looking for a class that in a simple, short duration, gives me the guidebook on some key poses and this was it. Elena, you rock. Very well done CL.

This class is short, sweet, and to the point! I have every class she has taught and love her style. Easy to follow and great base posing that has room for making it your own. Love this class!

She is a great communicator, and builds you up as the student to be proud of where you are as an artist, while at the same time, motivating and inspiring you to take it to the next level. I'm surprised this class is so inexpensive! If you like Elena's style, this provides very helpful insight and inspiration into posing your clients as well as editing and workflow. Better yet, all of the information is provided in short and succinct segments.

I am really sorry but I have to say that I am a bit disappointed on how little information were said and shown. I had to watch it again as I was convinced that I am missing a chapter but no it was just so short and so general. :(

I LOVED this class! Although the videos are short, the information was dense. This answered a lot of questions I had about posing for a lifestyle session in order to keep things looking organic and "un-posed". I highly recommend!

WOW. This course is perfect and concise. I honestly was worried considering how short the segments were, but her formulas are just that sensical and easy to understand. If you especially are looking for some help with rowdy toddlers, this is quick to digest and implement immediately! I hope for more posing courses from her in the future.
