Studio Lighting 101
Lindsay Adler
Mastering one light portraiture
One of my favorites of the 1 light classes on the platform, my gear is just one light one reflector so I can set up anywhere. This was what I needed to see. Very good to the point instruction and talking pace if you ask me.
Excellent class! The demonstrations made so much sense, and Chris teaches in a straightforward, easy to follow style. I learned a lot from watching him work through the setups in real time.
You should teach a course on how to teach! This course gets to the point, and gets the job done. I loved it. Thank you.
The title was exactly what the course was about. I'm a visual person, so mastering light was becoming a challenge for me. Chris defined the modifiers he used, the effects they would have and then demonstrated them masterfully. One viewer mentioned wanting to see the same light throughout. In my opinion you get an ideal of using different lights depending on what you possess. You can use what you have or buy what you need. Either way it suggests to me that you work with what you have and learn with them and add other details to refine your light. I'm glad I invested in this course! Well done Chris!
Good to see different techniques without needing large amounts of equipment.
Thanks Chris. This was very helpful.
Chris's style was excellent straight to the point, I picked up what he was putting down and at the end, I loved seeing all of the different looks I could get from one light. This is my kind of tuition. To the point, full of great info, rehashed at the end. More like this, please.
You can never learn enough about light. I loved this class! I recently downsized from a huge studio with multiple strobes and every kind of modifier, to a small home space with one large window and a few reflectors. This class was very informative and helpful with that transition. Chris Knight is an interesting and very knowledgeable instructor, and he was a joy to watch. I highly recommend this course!
Chris is a great teacher. Gets right to the point unlike many of the dry over stretched tutorials. Learned everything I needed to know in one evening.
Very simple explanations, no ego very cut and dry. The instruction is on point and he was able to show different looks with out complicated setups. Would recommend this to someone with one light and starting to work their way into portraiture.
Very instructive and the teacher explains very well and very clearly his point. Short course and perfect to have the hands-on quickly.
MUITO INTERESSANTE... PORQUE GOSTO SOMENTE DE 1 PONTO DE LUZ... QUANTAS POSSIBILIDADES, BASTA EXPLORAR!!!! EXCELENTE!!!!
