Pets and People Photography with Vicki Taufer

Although there is some good marketing advice, I won't shoot animals with these angles, looking down. As a pet photographer, I always try to be at the same level to avoid a submissive look.

I'm not a professional photographer and getting a glimpse of what the business of photography entails was very eye-opening. I appreciate the information that Vicki and her husband Jed provided.

I found this class very inspiring and enjoyed Vicki's sweet and humble nature. On a personal note: God bless you, Vicki for sharing your personal story re: your daughter and your work in Nepal. The world needs more people like you and your husband.

Have a few photography passions - horses, dogs, flowers & all nature. Have been trying to take my photography to the next level. This is the first class that I have watched giving the insight needed to see what all is involved in a photography business. Very interested in the posing of pets/people, the camera settings & the relationship with the clients. Work flow & complete course is interesting! Really enjoyed Vicki's teaching, examples & honesty. Thank you Creative Live for offering this.

Loved the teaching videos and found them really helpful. My only critique would be that I would have loved to have seen more of the photos that were taken during the actual indoor and outdoor sessions shown in the videos. I know there were some shown 'during' the videos right after they were taken, but they somehow left me hungry and wanting to see more. I know there were images shown in one of the starter videos, but personally feel to have seen more images of those taken from the actual teaching videos would have been even better. Great course by the way!

I'm only half way through Day 1 for this course and have already learned SO MUCH. This is a fantastic course and I'm so happy I decided to purchase it. Vicki has a wealth of knowledge that I think will set up a lot of photographers for success.

This was a great topic. I tuned in thinking I wouldn't be interested, and then, wow, it was fabulous. So fabulous I'm holding an event in two weeks time to launch my own pet photography and raise food for local homeless animals. Thanks so much CL team!
