I'm not sure why so many rip on this class. This is exactly what I needed to know (after I pulled my head out of my rear about wanting highly technical explanations). I do have an unusually small studio and really listening to him taught me loads of goodness, which I immediately applied and earned several awards by doing so. Thank you! Although a very calm video (which I also appreciated), it paved the way for deeper understanding of small locations and how to use them for great portraits.

Exceedingly basic. I really wish I had not spent the money and paid more attention to the reviews.

Jeff is a phenomenal photographer whose work I've purchased previously (LR presets and Posing Guide), purchasing this course was a no brainer for me due to his reputation alone, however, I was disappointed in the course. The content wasn't good, he seemed unmotivated which didn't motivate me to grasp his approach.

The class covers what you need to know is is concise and relatively short. Jess describes his process and recommends, gear, techniques, and modifiers to shoot within a small space. The information is basic, but so is the need to shoot in a small space.

As a pro, it wasn't exactly what I needed, but it was reasonably priced, fast paced and reaffirmed some skills I had. Very cool he shoots portraits with a 35 - which I was always shy of, and his recommendations for camera filter was also good. For this price and pace, I have no complaints at all! I generally use Creative Live courses in the corner of my screen when I'm on a long haul of retouching, and so instructors with good descriptive skills are great for me.

Great Class. Will definitely help me out. When i use a small bonus room in my house, into my "studio".

I was at a shoot the other day, lugging in so much equipment, and found myself crawling on tables to get the shot I needed. Jeff's course shows exactly what you really need for effective and impressive portraits in small areas, a huge help and my next shoot will be much more efficient and powerful.

Jeff is really the champ of keeping it simple yet with such strong edge. Truly recommend his style! / Henrik Korpi, Stockholm

He had some good ideas like using corners, light modifiers that emit focused/directional light, and dealing with color casts. Showed some excellent fashion portraits shot in really small spaces. Wish he had gone more into shooting in a room with average ceiling height.
