John has taken the time out to not just go through what every option does, but how well they work and how they apply to the real world. I did his (excellent) Fundamentals of Photography course but this dovetailed into that and gave me a lot more. Highly recommended!

Amazing, such a thorough and helpful overview of the Sony A7 III camera, I've been using the camera for a couple years but still learned so much

John does a great and thorough job of explaining each feature with many great illustrations. These cameras aren't easy to learn if you are like me, somewhat of a beginner. I had other digital cameras in the past, but I never spent the necessary time to learn all the features. The Sony A7 iii has so many more features that it is daunting to try to learn them by yourself. This course has helped me tremendously to understand how the camera works. I would definitely recommend this class to any photographer, both novice and expert.

I recently upgraded from A6300 to a A73. I learned so much that will help me use both cameras more effectively. I'm so glad I took this class.

The course is very complete; at least, you know all the possibilities of your camera. I could learn all the functions of my brand new camera. I recommend this training.

Great start summary!

Great course. I just switched from Nikon to Sony and wanted to learn the settings and features of this camera. This course covered 100% of that information. The instructor has a very easy to understand style and he uses examples and some tests to make it even more useful. The only recommendation is to make updates to this course as it appears to be from 2018, I'm writing this review in June 2020 and I found a few differences in the camera menus and settings. Nothing too critical but it still would be nice to have an updated source.

Another great product by John. Switched from Canon to Sony as I wanted to challenge myself in film school. I know most of this course is aimed at photography rather than video, however John does a sterling job on the menu's. I'd have like to have had the powerpoint slides as a pdf or suppliment like other course content as i find myself having to pause or rewind the video conent to take in the information. Other than that i'd recommend this to any new Sony camera user!!

I am a Canon Mark IV user. Bought my first mirrorless camera and need a course to bring me up to speed on this new technology. I didn't need a photography lecture just jump start. John Greengo's insight and instruction is second to none. I love his demonstration graphics and visuals they really do help. Highly recommend!

Another great class by John Greengo. So thorough. Glad I found John's classes. And after this last class, I feel confident to purchase the Sony A7III.

Wonderful class. John is a great instructor. Learned a lot. Only wish he'd include a bit more on using a7iii to shoot video, such as using Clear Image Zoom, and including video in the ending Camera Operation settings section. Loved the course though.
