A fantastic course on marketing! Carolina Rogoll delivers her message very clear and it is very easy to follow. The class is well organised and she explains each step thoroughly. It encourages and motivates you to do more.

  • Emeli L. Dec 30, 2024

As someone who has already established brand identity, etc., I still enjoyed this course and got a lot out of it. I would absolutely recommend it. I never heard of Debbie until today, but I love her perspective and realness on many of the topics discussed. Definitely worth listening to.

  • Fiona M. Apr 15, 2024

Great tutorial, very well explained. Thank you

  • Janine C. Aug 25, 2022

I loved this course and I would suggest it to anyone wanting to change career or looking for a job even if not in design. I got some interesting tips that I will keep forever such as you don't get a job, you WIN a job! Also, she gives some very important tips on how to win that job! Highly recommended!

  • Deb G. May 12, 2022

Even 6 years later, this class has so much valuable information and well presented. Thank you.

  • Deb G. Apr 27, 2022

Excellent! I will never look at typeface and daily examples of typography design the same way again! Brilliant teacher who animates the 'deliciousness of an optimal text setting experience' in such a hilarious and engaging manner.

  • Sandi K. T. Jan 14, 2022

This was an amazing class! If you have any interest in typography or graphic design, you cannot go wrong with taking Timothy Samara's class on typography. Not only is it highly informative, but Timothy is also very entertaining (yes, in a class on typography!).

  • H. Dec 20, 2021

Wonderful class. I have a much better understanding of how to use text in my work. I will be revisiting this class, I am sure! Highly recommend it.

  • Ivan B. Nov 8, 2021

Great class, but as a former professional typesetter (before InDesign, PageMaker and QuarkXpress), Erica uses the term "Justified Left" incorrectly! (sorry!) There is no such thing. Justified refers only to text that spans the width of it's column from edge to edge. The spacing in-between words will vary. Used primarily in newsprint where the columns widths are narrow. The other proper terms for text alignment are: Flush Left Ragged Right (or) Left-Aligned Flush Right Ragged Left (or) Right-Aligned Centered Justified The oddball is "Justified". It's the only option where word spacing is variable. This is the least desirable because it creates "Rivers and Valleys" of white space that distract the eye. Letter and word spacing can be tightened or tweaked to improve the overall look, but at cost in time.

  • Sofia G. Oct 16, 2021

He's not only great at explaining and giving examples, but he really dives deep into every part of creating a portfolio. He even gives some extra tips for designers and highlights important points. Would definitely recommend, it's a very complete course.

  • M. Oct 1, 2021

I loved this course. Five Stars. I was initially drawn to this course because of the title. I had read Tom Peter's article (with the same name) in Fast Company magazine many years ago, and found it really inspiring. This was before 'brand' was a household word. Anyway, the course is geared more towards designers looking for their dream job than a typical branding course, but as it happens, I am a designer, so it was quite informative. I can also use much of the advice and lessons and apply them to my own business. From contacting potential employers or clients to creative self promotion, there's valuable lesson to be had. I watched and listened to this course in one day, almost straight through. I highly recommend it. Great insight, great advice - whether you're a design student or not. If you're the creative type, I think you'll find this both enlightening and very enjoyable.

  • Kayla N. Apr 29, 2021

Great for beginners and those who need a refresher. Awesome class. I thorougly enjoyed it!

  • Anastasia R. Jan 30, 2021

Thank you very much! Great overview about the whole End-To-End process. Many insights and examples. Enjoyed it very much

  • Whitney S. Nov 21, 2020

I'm only halfway through episode 3, and I'm already hooked! Jason is very engaging and clearly very knowledgable about the subject. He is quick to answer questions thoroughly and phrases things in a very understandable way for beginners. I'm very excited to finish this class.

  • M. Sep 18, 2020

This class was so well done. He covers everything you need to know to get started, and gives lots of tips and tricks to make using these programs as efficient as possible. I went from not having any idea how to use Illustrator or Indesgin to being comfortable creating graphics and print products. I highly recommend this class if you're just getting started.

  • Wendi C. Aug 27, 2020

Honestly, I expected more from Debbie. I do love her as a podcaster - her style and in-depth questioning and knowledge of her guests is always a "differentiator". But, this course, since I've been in branding and am a self-made entrepreneur for 28 years, was pretty general and mostly from the perspective of a designer. I didn't feel as though I learned anything otehr than I know what I know, and I pretty much know 95% of what Debbie was teaching. But, it certainly has value for some people. I did watch the entire thing..well, I listened, I didn't watch most of it.

  • Tomas . Aug 26, 2020

A nice short course about communaction design. The medium is less important today I agree with that. because there are so many mediums today and they change quickly. The teacher is engaging, pacing could be a little faster (so I played on double speed) The course is more about introducing the sector, and the sciense behind graphic design.and communcation. An introductioncourse.

  • Sarah A. Aug 22, 2020

    Valuable class

  • Anthony O. May 22, 2020

If you are just starting on your design journey, then this is great course. The presenter is passionate, clear and concise.

  • Benjamin G. Apr 8, 2020

This is a good introduction to HTML5 and CSS. The instructor explains things well and I was engaged the whole way through. It is however a bit short. Understandable but I wanted more so I've tracked down a longer course by this same instructor. Still if you just need to understand the basics this is a good place to start.

  • Sofija R. Apr 6, 2020

Beneficial course, well organized, and you are an incredible teacher. I love this course and love the way how you explain each section very clear and detailed at the same time. Thank you very much, Carolina!

  • T. Apr 2, 2020

Excellent teacher! He clearly explains tools and concepts that had been a mystery to me in Illustrator and Photoshop. I will certainly be taking other lessons with him!!!

  • Tomas . Mar 23, 2020

Basic overview of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The course is a basic/startercourse. For more pro/advanced users the course is less helpfull. Though the teachingstyle is from a knowledgable instructior. A valuable course for annual members. Jason has many great courses that makes learning fun.

  • hemantj K. Mar 23, 2020
