Fantastic content, presented and chunked out well. Very digestible, super impactful! My one piece of feedback pertains to the course page and set up, not the content: having a clear roadmap of steps to take, including the homework to be done *before* the course starts, would have been helpful. If it was there, I couldn't find it (and I'm relatively literate...); as a result, I started the course content and had to stop and scramble to add 1-2 hours of pre-work to my schedule, buried as an attachment called "Homework." Having a clear "First, do the 1-2 hour long assignment contained in the Homework file. Next, complete the videos..." would have been great for busy learners.

This songwriting course does a great job of breaking down the process in a way that feels both practical and inspiring. The instructor explains melody, lyrics, and chord progressions clearly, using real-world examples that make it easy to follow along. It’s perfect for beginners but still offers useful insights for more experienced songwriters. Some parts could go a bit deeper, especially on advanced techniques, and a few more hands-on exercises would make it even better. Overall, though, it’s a solid, well-paced course that gives you real tools to improve your songwriting.

Great foundational ideas and tips for getting started. Fast-paced, interesting and lively. I was seeking information to write in a professional manner. Joyce is encouraging and down-to-earth. I am more prepared to move forward with my story.

I am so glad I took this course! I have been writing novels as a hobby for decades and never felt able to take it to a new level. I feel empowered to write now. Everything else I have read about writing intimidated me. I could NOT SEE the process they were teaching. But this made so much sense, very foundational! I could envision the process. I highly recommend this course and supplemental guide. I wish I could ask of the books I pick up to read, "Did the author take this course? because I don't want to waste my time reading this book unless they did!"

Oh my gosh, i took so, so many notes. Despite it being a quick and dirty version of the class, I figured out where my main character was stuck and now everything makes sooo much more sense. I red the book and it had a very strong impact on my growth. this course reveals many aspects on which the book does not focus. Highly recommended...from my point of view, it should be a mandatory course for high school students in Italy

This was absolutely life changing and I am almost 60 years old. I have been told I am weird my whole life even though I have stayed employed my whole adult life ....retail, housekeeper, County court clerk, and now only recently a job that I love and is my red thread!!! Caregiving. I am on leave right now for a knee injury however it appears I am also in a place that I can learn more about my red threads and to embrace my weirdness that makes my ability to be a wanted caregiver from the clients that understand my weirdness or embrace it.....is really so gratifying to think about.
