Thank you for an excellent class on a key pivot point no matter what industry you are in. One stellar quality of this course is how collaborative, friend focused peer culture and (rather than hostile competition or dysfunction competition environment and psychological atmosphere). The structure suggestions enable creativity and acknowledges different mindsets required in different phases. Susie honors the joy that comes from making and creating. She celebrates the interdependence between all stakeholders and the fun and flow as well as learnings and choices from being a 'business'. She is pragmatic but high on the inclusiveness of fun and satisfaction. She is interested and interesting: safe, enjoys being a customer as much as teacher and expressions of creative generation for herself. You can be caught up in the delight of her view of the world if you have become jaded or burnout. This brings perspective and empowerment to your desire and goals.

Having read Susie Breuer's book 'Blue is the New Black'- the 10 step guide to developing and producing a fashion collection, I was so excited to see that she now had a worship here on CreativeLive, so my expectations where high to start off with. It was always going to be a challenge to meet them or even come close, but this worship amazed me, with its 'easy' approach to what, at first, sounds so complicated; mission statements, time and action plans, pricing and planning. In a relaxed studio with a live audience, Susie managed to make it feel more like an intimate evening at home, in your living room, with good friends on the sofa to interact with. I even had a glass of wine while watching one of the lessons. All broken down into manageable lessons, so if the kids bother you, the factory is emailing or the phone rings, you can easily slip in and out and work at your own pace. I know my notebook is now full of ideas and, finally, I have a little more understanding of how to get organised, set objectives and plan to grow. Thanks Susie.

I am in the midst of craziness creating samples for my line and this class was SO helpful! I think one of the most helpful things was the emphasis on creating a timeline. I had done this in my head, but her tips really helped to put it on paper. I feel a lot more at ease with only two months until my deadline! Thank you! =)

Susie has this most amazing experience in business - she is fashion royalty - but has an amazing ability to put all her knowledge across in a way that you can learn so easily. I was so pleased that she could show you how to learn from her experience and it would make sense for your business. Pretty much whatever you are doing. I came away from these sessions with so many ideas. But of course ideas are cheap. She has made me understand how once you have an idea, how to make it real. So many great learnings about avoiding pitfalls, practical check lists and honest to goodness 'know how'. I am already putting her advice into practice and can see I am going to transform my business just because of these classes. I am going to come back to those videos again and again. Thank you so much for making this great resource available.

I LOVED THIS COURSE. After being a small business owner for 10 years it is easy to focus on what's right on your desk at that very moment instead of evaluating the bigger picture, to forget how to look at what is working as well as what isn't and how to improve upon your process. Courses like this make me want to jump up out of my seat and get back to work. Susie kept me engaged and focused. It can be a long day but time seemed to fly by. I am really glad I got the opportunity to take the course, not only would I take it again but would highly recommend future Creative Live courses and Susie's latest book. Thank you again for the opportunity and now I gotta get back to work!

Susie is an experienced professional with an engaging, personal teaching style. I went into the class hoping to clarify my ideas for new products, and learned that and much more. I don't want to give away the class content in the review, but I want to emphasize that although her direct experience is in the apparel industry, she definitely made the principles of setting up a new product line applicable to any medium. If you want to know what goes into producing your designs as a BUSINESS and meeting deadlines such as craft fairs, this is the class for you. A lot of what she said made more sense than what I've learned from other business classes, and she covered areas that are major weak spots in my business, such as competitor analysis and scheduling. When I put these improvements in place, I know it will help make my business more profitable and hopefully less stressful.

Susie is a joy to spend a few days with... you won't be disappointed. I really loved how she took this topic from all angles, including an emphasis on crafting a mission statement and a vision statement before you even get started. It reminds me that even though we must be goal/target oriented, we must make sure we come at our work from a place that holds meaning. You will get a lot out of this class, particularly if you are thinking about going into apparel design/production. Thank you, Susie!

I thought this course was very well organized. Great source of information. Instructor was very detailed and enjoyed the interaction with others in the chat room. However, I wish the chat box would not constantly log you off when profile is inactive. It's challenging to toggle between taking notes, listening to the instructor and participating in the chat when it constantly logs off a user. Overall, I feel the course has helped me dig deeper into how I produce my products as well as direct steps in building my mission and vision statements. Thank you so much! I'm so glad that my friend referred me to your site!

This is a superb class - thank you Susie! I so appreciate how specific you are about the details, it's invaluable. I've had a business idea, know a lot of what I'll need, you're filling in where I've been vague. Thanks!
