Course Introduction

Hi, I'm Will Carnahan and I'm here with video school online and Phil Ebner to bring you a Diy food photography course. I'm a professional photographer, as well as cinematographer. I've been around a lot of commercial food and other corporate videos and stuff like that. We wanna create a course that will show you how to do Diy food photography. This isn't for a big studio, big flash and light set up. This is for you at home to just pull sources that you have at home or at a local craft store using natural light to make your food photography look super professional. We're gonna start our lessons with picking up the ideal location in your house to shoot food. We're then gonna talk about settings and trying to bring out those accents and what kind of utensils to use for your style and your looking food. After that, we're gonna go into lighting techniques, how to control ambient and natural light. After that, we're gonna talk about cameras and the difference between iphone and phone cameras...

versus bigger professional and smaller mirrorless cameras. And then we're also gonna check out how to compose the best shot with your camera after all that's done and said, we're gonna go ahead and talk about how to naturally edit your food photography and have it be as natural and as crisp and vibrant as possible. So, if you're ready, let's get started.
