He explains how to adjust colors and light values and contrast with different techniques. How to make your image neutral in colors before start grading. You also learn how to use a LUT and how to make one. He also briefly explains how to choose colors that work together. What I miss is additional explanation about what you can or can not export to a homemade LUT file. I assume that a LayerMASK is not taken. He explains how to darken a background with a selective layer mask. How should I imagine a movie file? Film is always changing. I guess it cannot be included in Export for the LUT file

I learned a lot about photoshop techniques, that are often forgotten. Every Photographer should know about there colour theories. On the other hand it was really short and repeating itself. I was missing more about "how to create a look" instead of repeating theory. Whenever class is discounted - I'd recomend it!

I am only onto lesson 6 but already I have learned so many new things that I really needed to learn about color! Especially how to use the curves layer adjustment with blend modes! Wow!! Such a great investment!

So much to learn about colors. The instructor presents the basic color fundamentals we all know and shows how we can apply them to our own photos to improve them artistically.

I watched this class live, and I thought he gave great examples as he explained techniques. I have been wanting to learn how to color grade images, and I am very happy with the three approaches he shared. I feel I have a great handle on this look now. Thanks so much CL for bringing him to teach us.

Jesús Ramirez packs a lot of info into this fascinating topic of creating the cinematic look in our images. This is something I never even knew about, but can't wait to experiment with on my own. He covers a ton of very technical material about color and manipulating color through adjustment layers and masks and blending, some of it quite "above my head". But the beauty of owning the course is that I can go at my own pace and no one will ever know how long it takes me to "get it"!
