A very informative class. Jared did a good job getting me excited to start printing some books of my travels. One thing I found surprising however, was that particularly at the end, there were multiple sections that should have been edited out (where Jared started, made a mistake and restarted. This was broadcast at exactly the right time as I've been thinking just this week that I must get a book published of some of my work. Step by step explanation by Jared breaks everything down easily and gave me the confidence to just go ahead and do it. The big bonus was also the insight he gave into how to use Lightroom collections. Thanks CL.

I've made Blurb books in Lightroom before but have muddled my way through with much frustration, a good dose of cursing and precious little creativity. This course has changed all that. It was informative, kept me interested and I'm looking forward to making my next book.

This was fantastic! I've been using Blurb for years but somehow never made the connection between Lightroom and Blurb via the Book module. This streamlines the process brilliantly (well done, Adobe!) and Jared's excellent instructions are clear, concise and it's super easy to follow his logical steps through the entire process. I had a brief introduction to the Lightroom Book Module last year during an intensive Creative Live Lightroom training course, but it was nowhere near as detailed and compelling as Jared's course. In ~1.5 hours of lessons, Jared introduces you to all of the steps required to lay out and perfect images, add text, background images, covers, etc. I have made several books in Blurb over the years, and found it very time consuming to select, import and arrange images. Designing the book with Lightroom is so much easier, and yet retains all of the features of the standalone Blurb book designer. I know that I will need to refer back to Jared's lessons again after practicing my newly learned skills, so it was an easy decision to purchase this course. I look forward to easily creating books from my recent travels, since the images are already edited and organized in Lightroom.

I have been looking for a new “publisher” for my grandchildren’s birthday books and my photo trip books since My Publisher was absorbed by Shutterfly. Neither of these two offered me the photographic control I have in Lightroom. Blurb looks like a flexible option and Jared’s class has given me the courage to start publishing again. Many thanks!

Even the minutest of details explained in simplest possible way.. many of the hidden assets of Lr exposed.

I use Lightroom for my post production work and am using InDesign to create my book. However this class provided me with useful ideas for my book layout as well as tips on using Lightroom that I never knew. Thank you for yet another stellar class.
