I do believe that two instructors of portraiture photography in creativelive are best and their courses are worth spending times, they are Scott and Lindsay Adler. I highly recommend the course because Scott directly moves on the point and avoid dealing with useless details. He demonstrates every thing briefly and precisely.

Wow, superb. Scott teaches fundamentals and more advanced topics with ease. It is very easy to follow Scott and I really like his teaching style.

Phenomenal!. NOT only will this course make you take better Portraits; But Also it will help you be a better photographer. Appreciate Scott's direct and enthusiastic energy in teaching and explaining concepts. Lots of dynamic example photos really drive the key messages and ideas. You will shoot better composition, have dynamic lighting and do excellent post-processing for all your photographs after this class.

This is probably one of the most concise, informative, and entertaining videos on CreativeLive regarding posing fundamentals and lighting. Scott is full of energy and his teaching style is second-to-none. No matter what level you are in your portrait photography, beginner or advanced, you'll find it chock-full of useful information, tips, and tricks. I can't recommend this course enough.

This course is amazing! Scott is extremely straightforward. He goes directly to practical problems, tips and etc. He explains every thing very clearly, and he is also very funny and charismatic, making you laugh as you learn. He shows that you don't need a lot of expensive gear to make very nice pictures. So I have saved some money as well, cause I was about to buy some gear that I wouldn't need right now. It is for sure one of the best photography courses I have ever attended to! I highly recommend! Thanks a lot Scott! You are the best!

A great experience with Scott! This class shows you basic crucial concepts for taking better portraits! He is super fun and easy to follow; I definitely recommend this class!

I really liked it. As usual Scott has piles of useful info. My only criticism is it felt kinda rushed rather than the usual Creative Live style which includes the class interaction and so on. It might be a new production style by CL which is slicker but I personally liked the previous format more. Just my opinion. The content is excellent and I got a lot out of it.

I love this class, it would be great for us to have the images from each posing session as a pdf.

I LOVE Scott's classes. I've watched two full day classes in a row of his. His personality is awesome and he is hilarious. He makes it so much fun, and I've truly learned so much.

Scott embodies every skill a photography teacher could have: Lighting, Camera, Posing, Composition, Creativity, Interpersonal/Psychological, Enthusiasm, Teaching, Relatability, and a Product Line of helpful lighting products. If I could follow Scott around for a month, I'd be a totally different photographer.
