The graphic was born when a young student asked then-director James Keblas the age old question: Can I quit my day job to be a musician?

The rules and theories of cinema can seem pretty abstract without concrete examples — though few film schools opt to use LEGO Star Wars characters to do the explaining. Filmmaker Victor Ha explained the 180 Degree Rule, a crucial spacial element which helps the viewer understand the physical relationship between two onscreen characters, in his CreativeLive course, Fundamentals of DSLR Filmmaking.
