If you're taking photos frequently, it's likely you accumulate piles of photos (so to speak) very quickly, regardless of your photography skill level. It can be daunting to think about ways to categorize or organize all these images, but it's actually a lot simpler of a task than it might appear to be.

This week, NPR reported on a study which found that the human brain, regardless of a person's perceived ability to keep a beat, can still keep time. The findings further underscored a long-running theory that music truly is a universal human language, as old as time and as thoroughly rooted in our brains as the need to breathe.

The histogram on your camera can tell you a lot about the quality of your photo, but for beginner photographers, interpreting what the chart is trying to tell you can be overwhelming and confusing. Lucky for us, John Greengo offered up an easy explanation of the histogram in the course, The Photography Starter Kit.
