Every time I upgrade my camera, I can rely on John Greengo to walk me through it! Took this class recently and previously I took the 5DMIII class. Highly recommend. It's A LOT! I go back about every 6 months and learn more! I watch over and over. Hope he has one for the IDX in a few years.

This is a really great course. Well paced and with very clear information and presentations. Well worth the money and the time. I watched every part and was amazed at some of the "basic" information that I wasn't aware of. It will be my go to reference for the camera and I'm sure will help my photography. The information on the focus modes and setting was great. Thanks

John is such a fabulous educator. Well spoken, knowledgeable and he presents with such clarity and easy, it makes listening that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend taking this class and any of his classes dealing with photography. HE simplifies the menu system and buttons on the camera in this course that would be painstakingly long if you tried it on your own. I have watched this video 2-3 times know and each time I go back, I learn a little more. Being able to drop into any of the main topics with easy, not having to watch and search for your desired info is so convenient. I will never buy another camera without checking to see if John has completed a review on it........I trust his opinion. Thanks John......I am a fan.

I have had my canon 5d IV for a while and could get my head around all the option and settings.....this as solved all that and is presented in simple and easy to understand way by John 10/10

John Greengo is a wonderful teacher. He anticipated any questions one might have and answered them before anyone asked. He is clear, concise, and always on topic...no rambling, self-absorption, or off-color remarks. I wish he taught everything I want to learn. He's great!

Just turning 60, I'm a bit of a late bloomer, having used very simple cameras all my life, like my trusty Canon Powershot... I received a Canon 4000D/T100 for by birthday and was so delighted with it that I went out and purchased a 5D Mark IV. However, I didn't realize how much more of a camera the 5D is and was a bit dismayed by the 600 page manual it came with and the daunting amount of buttons, dials, switches and controls! Thank goodness for John's class on the 5D! He's made it really easy for me to follow along and start taking the kinds of pictures I've always wanted to, but was never able to for one reason or another. I whole-heartedly recommend this course to anyone with a Canon 5D Mark IV camera! John is such a knowledgeable tutor and he has a really easy-going demeaner that makes watching his videos a real pleasure.

brilliant, John makes it all so easy to understand. This is the 3rd camera quickstart I have purchased, and they are invaluable. I really do feel i know my new camera now, and i love that the menu system for the class is so involved, makes it easy to come back to things. thanks John, another brilliant course!!

I've been enjoying each of these sessions, but was baffled at the beginning of this Live View discussion, because I couldn't get my 5D to take pictures that way.. just movies. I think the camera ships with Live View shoot disabled (camera menu 5 I found), since I don't recall setting it. John should have included that in his discussion.

I have to say I was a little disappointed in this session. The strength of John's videos have been that not only does he explain the 'function' but he demonstrates how it is done. In this session I had the feeling he was looking at a clock and thinking "I have to get through this". Image selection - how does one select more than one image or is that a possibility? - cropping "there are lots of selections on the top of the screen". Yes I can see that but show me how they work. If you start out in Photo Basics explaining ISO and Depth of Field, I don't think it is unreasonable to show me how to crop an image. Better safe than sorry? :-) Still a fan but those are my thoughts. Cheers

John does a wonderful job explaining a camera with many, many features. This is the third of his classes I've purchased and I recommend them to people wanting to get the most out of their expensive purchases!

Wow! How did I ever operate this 5D MK 4 without "My Menu Tab" configured. You just saved me an enormous amount of time and energy. Learned so much..... and I thought I knew my camera. This class is worth every penny.

Great course. John explains in a very clear and easy to understand way. he explains most of the things a photographer needs to know about the 5DMkIV. The few things he brushes over he explains why he does not go into detail but at least he explains what the function is. Another 5 Star course form John :)

Great class! I had used canon 6D for 4 years and recently switched to 5D Mark IV, thinking most of the functions are the same, but after got this class, I've learned things that I would've never known by just reading the manual. I know John for a long time, the way he describes is visual which makes it very easy to understand. If someone can spend over $3000 to purchase this camera then it's worth spending $50 more to learn all the tips and tricks about it.

I just finished John Greengo's Canon EOS 5D-iv Fast Start tutorial. As usual, it was great. I've taken a few other video classes, and Greengo is flat-out the best. Clear, informative, engaging, and complete.
