Nikon D3100 / D3200 / D3300 Fast Start with John Greengo

Amazing class! This is the best Nikon camera training I have seen. John is so easy to understand. I learned so much more about my d3300.

Had absolutely no camera experience except for a point and shoot ha ha ha!...this class allowed me to become very familiar and comfortable with my Nikon 3200 quite easily...watched the entire course straight through!...really great class that I thoroughly enjoyed...worth every penny...thanks John!

Absolutely loved it. Thank you, John. I got the camera as a present as I have always enjoyed photography, searching for the composition and light, etc. I got the camera in the summer but felt like I was using only 10% of it. John's class really made me understand what I have in my hands and feel free to experiment in order to take most out of a shot instead of seeing the potential in it but getting disappointed every time I look at the preview of my photos. I'm an amateur photographer. I decided to upgrade from my iPhone and point and shoot camera. I bought the Nikon D3300. I then found John's class on the D3300. His easy to follow course walked me step by step and button by button around and in my new camera. It was worth the money. His tips, tricks, and hidden gems took me from auto to the big 4-manual, aperture, shutter, and programming! Wow. With my new understanding of the camera, my pictures improved with each shoot. Practice makes better...but it was the confidence John gave me to go out and use the entire camera that is making me a better storyteller. I just watched this whole class in one day! I've got the D3300 and this class was just super. I'm ashamed at what I didn't know about this camera, and I learned a lot. John's a terrific teacher and the course is very easy to follow, and paced just right. Looking forward to the basic photograph course next.

I'm a visual learner and this course had everything I needed to really retain information about my D3200! John Greengo does a fantastic job giving you a visual understanding of what he is explaining in his lessons, which helped me feel more confident when using my camera. Highly recommended!

I was upgrading from a hybrid DSLR/fixed lens camera to an entry level DSLR for under $500. I decided on the Nikon D3300. So, when I found John's review & watched it, I was extra-glad I'd purchased this camera kit. Since the D3300 is considered an addendum to this course, watch ALL of it, because the camera has the basics/foundation of the D3100 & the D3200.

I tried reading the manual for my D3200, but it was confusing. This course and John Greengo was heaven sent. This is the best course for anyone with a D3100, D3200 or D3300. Mr. Greengo makes learning easy and enjoyable. I will be taking more of his classes. Excellent Teacher!

Finished the 9 steps for the D3300. I know way more that i did. Owned a SLR years ago, DSLR does soo much more. Love the easy training of John Greengo.

I am so thankful that I found this course on how to use my new D3200. This is the first time I've ever been able to purchase a "real" camera and I didn't want this to end up like every other camera I've purchased in the past, where I never really learned to use the darn thing in other mode except "auto." John Greengo gave me everything I needed in this course to be able to use my camera the way it was intended. Now I'm going to study the Fundamentals of Photography that he teaches. OMG, John! I have owned this Nikon D3200 since it came out but had trouble understanding a few things in the Instructions. For the 1st time John made everything completely Clear. I've reset my camera and everything is a lot better.. Because of his clarity in these instructions and watching fundamentals of photography course, I decided to purchase this course also..

Wow! Amazing course. I started learning photography on my own about 6 months ago. I read many blogs and tutorials and watched a lot of you tube videos. I then decided to buy Johns Intro to Digital Photography course. It's an excellent class and I was learning so much, but having still having trouble understanding how I could translate what I was learning into taking great pictures with my camera. I read my user manual a few times and still had a lot of questions. I was really hesitant to buy this course because I am cheap. Lol. I thought I should b able to learn everything using my FREE user manual. I am so glad I decided to buy the class. Everything finally makes sense. He even gave examples of pictures and showed how he would set up this camera to get a good shot. John is an excellent teacher. Worth every penny.

I've owned my D3100 for several years now. I purchased the course to see if there was anything else John could teach me about it....he didn't let me down. John is a fantastic instructor making things easy to understand. I would recommend any of his courses to new or somewhat seasoned photographers. We should never stop learning...!!!!

Wonderful resource! I'm a brand new photographer, with a brand new 3300 that I bought because I decided that if I was ever going to get the most out of my point & shoot, I would have to learn to use a "grown up" camera. That seems backwards, I know, but there don't seem to be classes that help a person go beyond p &; s. Since I'm new to photography in general, I found the pace to be super fast - thank goodness I could yell "wait!" at the computer then rewind! The operational section was extremely useful. Being able to practice resetting the various elements was exactly what I needed. I do wish that I'd watched the 3300 update before watching the rest of the episodes. The functionality of the newer model was just different enough to make me want to pull out my hair. What dial? What button? So that would be my tip: if you have a 3200 or 3300, watch that segment first and maybe make a note of the changes so you don't go mad during certain portions of the course. Otherwise, it was great, and I so appreciate the fact that I'll be able to go back and review sections whenever I want. Now it';s off to the basic photography class! Thanks, CreativeLive!

I decided to get a nice camera to take pictures of my children. I feel a little silly for not learning about my camera sooner! I've been shooting on auto for years and had no clue what many of the "buttons and knobs" were. This class is so much easier to take in than sitting and reading the manual. Greengo's teaching style is awesome! I am very happy and I highly recommend it. I'm planning on purchasing more of his classes :)

I have always love photography and I decided that it was time to buy my first DSLR camera. I bought the Nikon D3100 and it was overwhelm. Looking for some help I came across the name John Greengo and a small video about the Nikon D3100. I'm so glad I decided to press the button and buy this class. I love how he gives visual of what his taking about and breaks it up step by step. At the beginning I could only used the camera in the guided mode by the end of the classes I'm able to use my camera in the manual mode. I definitively recommend this class to learn more about your camera.

I have taken two sessions today. I like them. The second session about the MENU is moving very quickly, so I will have to review this section again so that I can fully understand the different buttons and screens.

I just purchased a 3200 on a sale & bought this class on an impulse. I'm so glad I did! I now know more about my new camera than I did my old one! I had no hesitation after this class in purchasing Mr. Greengo's Fundamentals class. Can't wait to start!

John Greengo's class taught me some much about my camera and what it will and can do. I tried to read the manual and another book I bought about the 3100, but didn't understand a lot of the jargon. He explains things in easy to understand terms and gives examples of what he is talking about. I loved this class and am looking forward to starting the next class I bought of his! A great instructor that is hands on, easy to follow, and passionate about his craft! Excellent class for learning about your camera!!

I just got the Nikon D3100 as a Christmas present, and I was intimidated by the user manual. I can guarantee this is a great resource to learn how this camera works, because John Greengo's teaching style is absolutely perfect. His slides are the best to teach newcomers like me in an easy to understand way the functions of this camera and basic photography principles. Couldn't recommend it enough. Excellent!
