Fashion Flair for Photographers with Lindsay Adler

Jan/2025... still enjoyable to watch because the video doesn't look dated and the content is still relevant for portrait, boudoir and wedding photographers.

I’ve done a lot of Creative Live portrait courses and wasn’t sure if this course would add anything new. However, I loved it! This was a whole new style of portrait photography for me and gave me lots of ideas to get the creative juices going. Would highly recommend!

Great course learned a lot and love the aspect of utilizing fashion into wedding photography and doing it post-wedding, sets apart from other photographers and honestly its something I resonate as well with because I am more into fashion photography than a wedding. As Lyndsy states that to photograph for the magazine doesn't really pay, I am no vogue photographer but with local magazines its more advertising than great pay. I did feel bad for the guy in the vintage couple photo, a good looking guy. I personally think that Peter Hurley and Roberto are probably better in posing, not taking away from Lyndsay Adler she's definitely a favorite.

GO FOR IT !!!!! Clarity in all aspects. Thank you, Lindsay. I own other classes from her. She was born for this :)

I have watched at least half a dozen Creative Live courses and this was definitely one of the most interesting and informative of them. Lindsay showed her wealth of knowledge in lighting, posing, post processing and marketing. I was truly impressed with her level of comfort in each field. She tackled different situations and questions with ease. I really liked the course layout as well. She shot her own themed shoots and explained them. Then she helped each student with their own very different styled shoots. It looked like a lot of fun and a great way to learn too. Then at the end Lindsay had a fun little light painting session. WELL DONE LINDSAY AND CREATIVE LIVE!!! ;-)

I'm an artist and amateur photographer who has long been interested in the subject of fashion photography and how to incorporate it into my art. Lindsay impressed me with her depth of knowledge and her comprehensive and selfless method of presentation. Showing before and afters to illustrate technical differences was particularly helpful to me, as was seeing her explain the importance of concept and story. Posing, glowing skin, and lens flare techniques were also a treat to witness and learn from her. Her passion for the subject is tangible, and left me more excited about the potential for my own work. The sheer volume of information Lindsay shares in this workshop is tremendous, from idea to the shoot to post-production, and certainly worth the investment I made in my career. Thanks to Lindsay and thanks to Creative Live.

Lindsay's class is great. This workshop ties many things other instructors on CL have taught this year but brings it together in a way to help think in a creative way and add flair to any style of work. Not to mention Lindsay's knowledge, passion, and humor she imparts which can help any photographer regardless of their level to help enrich their journey in photography.

I was truly impressed with the depth of Lindsay's knowledge, her ability to respond to any given situation, and with her teaching talent. So much inspiration! I've got more ideas in these three days that I would ever imaging possible. The follow up course on creative retouching would be great!

Honestly 3 days wasnt enough! Soooo much great information that left me wanting more... Many things, such as the retouching session, due to time constraints you only could touch the surface... Please creativeLIVE have Lindsay back for just her photoshop workflow. I was also surprised that her unique style is no flash outdoors and really only sunlight and refelctors, I thought that flash/strobes for a fashion phtographer was a must outdoors as it is indoors... Lindsay is an incredible teacher! Her passion for photography shines through and her ability to communicate technical concepts in an easy to understand manner is really impressive. She has a genuine desire to share what she knows and to help others strive to be different and stand out, and to grow in their craft. Her workshops should not be missed!

Lindsay is such a nice person, and teaching comes naturally to her - she was great to learn from. From her post production techniques to her range of lighting styles, this workshop really helped me see how to do things differently. I also loved her sound business advice, she knows her stuff!

Truly inspirational! There was just so much to take in, I had to buy the course. I am looking forward to planning some themed shoots with my daughter (who is an amazing makeup artist naomimckeever.com). It was amazing that someone as young as Lindsay could be so good at all the different aspects of her business and also able to teach it so well. Her enthusiasm was infectious and she came across as a really nice person.
