Very good! The joking is a good because it is hard to teach a technical course a being light heated helps.

Gotta LOVE Pye and his way of teaching! 100% recommended.

I learned more about strobe lighting in this class than in all other books, tutorials, mentoring combined. I'm actually a little bit angry that nobody else explained some of this stuff so clearly! Understanding flash duration alone is going to change so much for me. And I'm really excited for my next shoot...

Im really a beginner when it comes to flash and this was difficult to follow at times and when referencing the photo examples he used , he was not clearly physically pointing out which photos as he spoke . so very confusing. all in all C+

Great course, Considering that I am a professional photographer that is always searching for new ways to work and make my workflow more efficient and my work more creative, I find this class to be very helpful and interesting. I already own 3 pocket flashes and I realize that I don't exploit them as I could. It also made me realize that I was more in the «the more gear you buy» mode and not enough in the «exploit your gear and be creative» mode. So for the price, I think it is worth it !

Not only is this a great class, but Pye is entertaining to watch. I'm a natural light photographer and I wanted to learn more about what a flash could do for me and my business. After watching this class I have not only learned more about flash photography but also learned that it can help boost my photos and create more beautiful photos even for my family clients. Great class I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn more about flash photography.

"Working with Flash" was a great introduction for learning the basics of using a pocket flash, as well as providing opportunities to explore more advanced concepts related to light and its manipulation. I would definitely recommend this class for anyone who is wanting to familiarize themselves with the how flash can transform your photos and how its control can provide a creative avenue with artistic results.

I got a lot out of this course. I'm watching it for the second time now. I have been intimidated by flash for so long and now I feel ready to tackle it. This is honestly the first class about flash that I actually completely understood.

Another great class with Pye. I purchased this in conjunction with another class that I also found quite informative. He demonstrated several ways to use one light with reflectors ..what more do folks want for $20 bucks?? If you purchase a few of Pye's other courses you will find all of this information combines to create a great informational package.

First of all I am not sure why did I buy this one? I was obviously looking for something else, but got some information on special offer, took a look at preview and decided to make a purchase. This was hell of a good impulse ;) The course is worth it's money and I have watched it through almost on one breath. I have learned a lot. I have understood lots of mistakes I was making so far and looking forward some possibilities to use my knowledge! Already did some shopping list, but I am very happy - it is not long and not expensive. One thing that I am missing is bonus material - I really miss Pye's presentation - it was very visual and simple and that is what I would like to have on my desktop. Still a very good purchase.

Contrary to the beliefs of the others, I found the course to be rather informative. He joked a bit too much but he was straight to the point and he spoke in terms even those that had limited knowledge in photography could follow. totally recommending it!!
