You’ll have to genuinely embrace the fact that your life might feel full for a while and that carving out time for art will require some discipline.

We know that most design houses look to hire talent with a knack for Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign. These are crucial tools for designers -- who would feel a little lost if they were taken away -- and companies who are looking for designers who can get their work done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We know, you already have so much on your plate that how dare we ask you to take on another thing. And it is especially egregious because we’re asking you to do something that requires equipment and a set of the skills you have no time to learn.
