Canon 1DX Mark II Fast Start with John Greengo

John does a great job as usual. He provides so many visual aides and demonstrations which really helps you understand how to operate and set up your camera. His step by step explanation of the entire menu and each tab is excellent. In addition to his many photography tips and instructions. What an excellent class and a great value for all the detailed instructions provided. Much better than the manual you get in the box. Plus you get to watch this as many times as needed. I highly recommend this course and all of John's other classes.

Great course, in the lenses section 4:32 in there is a mistake the 85mm is marked as 50mm,. might confuse people.. but apart from that .. really good course

Great video. Loved the clear explanations, great views and mixture of video and slides. I’ve read a lot of manuals and books on settings and use of various Canon cameras but this is the first time I’ve really understood the full range of functions.

I quite enjoyed John's course on the 1DX mark ii. To be frank, I should have taken it 122,000 shots ago when I bought the camera. I learned quite a bit. There were only a few occasions when I thought my cranium could explode. But I walked away from the course with some great tips and in the grand scheme of things, the money I invest in education is always more valuable than the latest and greatest camera strap, lens, or bag. It will probably take a few months for all of the information to sink in but I'm feeling good about what I learned and the price I paid for it. All in all, a good value.

Class was awesome it gave me a better understanding on setting up my 1dx and understanding all the function on what this camera has to offer..

John presented exactly what I came here for. I like his judgement about where to spend time with thorough explanations and where to just move on. I've owned a 1DX and now a !DX II and never before saw myself as understanding all the functions of the beasts. Now I do. Know what the barber said? Next! And for next, I will look for a rundown of the Canon 5D Mark IV that is as thorough, well planned, and presented as John's 1DX Mark II series.

very well presented, very professional, i want to have an advance class for advance custom setting of the camera for different shooting purpose

his was a good class in most respects and I did learn some of the tings that are new to the 1DX Mk II. My only disappointment weans John's no explanation or help with The LAN system/ John painted a picture of doom and gloom in setting up the LAN. I read 8 of the small pages in the manual, used the setup wizard and was using the LAN for tethered shooting an file transport in about 5 minutes. It seems that John's grasp of LAN systems is a good as his grasp of DOF.
