Canon EOS 80D Fast Start with John Greengo

Very worthwhile. Well worth the time and money spent. I've had this camera for about 4 years and while I understand the basics of photography having learned on manual film cameras cameras many years ago, I could never find the settings or features I needed when I needed them. Also, John is a very gifted and engaging teacher and I enjoyed the several hours I've spent with him over the last few days. Thanks, John!

I like the way John teaches and he is very knowledgeable. He is able to explain everything clearly. To the person who wonders why he didn’t mention how to set camera according to the Rule of Thirds, he did talk about setting up grid lines.

Did I miss something??? I didn't hear/see you explain HOW to fix your focus points on the rule of thirds marks. I kept playing it over and over to see if I missed something. What did I miss?

The class is comprehensive and well presented. The video is clear and well lit and the graphics are clear. One small complaint: in some cases it isn't clear which mode the camera is in to perform a certain function. Trial and error on my own camera resolved this, but it should be mentioned in the class.

This is my third course on the Canon 80D and is my new go-to resource. I wish I had found this one first as it is thorough, well paced, and covers everything you need to know about the camera. The visuals are professional and clear and the pdf's are a bonus. Thank you John. I am looking forward to taking your other courses.

BEAUTIFUL! I just wish this classes should set with close captioned for the Deaf/HOH, because I am Deaf! BUT He showed us so clearly, though! I understand this video so clearly.

I bought an 80D so I could have a good all-around DSLR and I was thrilled to see that John just did this class. This is my 3rd class of John's and it was just as great as the others. Loved the live Canon 80D class preview before purchasing the 70D CL class for my new camera upgrade. John Greengo is a talented teacher,. The Canon T4i class had also been extremely easy to follow and informative in all aspects of the camera and the photography process. His slide are AWESOME! Love the visuals!

This was a good class and covered the manual well plus gave insight and suggestions to practical setting with full explanation of recommendation.

Awesome class!!! First watched "How to choose your first DSLR camera" and decide on the Canon EOS 80D based on my needs and what I want to accomplish in the future. I have ordered the camera but have not recieved it yet but I still watched the class. Even though I didn't have the camera in hand I feel that I have a good understanding and feel for it already.
