Just starting this and it's so clear and well presented, that I'm now excited again about the Fuji X-T1 that I haven't touched since I bought it new because there was no instruction as good as John's available. I went for a Canon 7Dm2 and a Nikon D500, but neither is as enjoyable as John has made my Fuji again. I'm considering the XT-4, and if he does a class on it, that will be a big factor. He's one of the best!

I have had my camera for over a year and a half and finally decided to purchase this class. I'm not all the way through but have learned about many features and short cuts that I didn't know about. Great teacher, easy to follow. I will be reviewing many segments. It's great to be able to have access to this information at any time. This course would be great for any one who wants to master the X-T1.

Great class! The learning modules are well structured and allow enough time for the viewer to absorb what is being shared. After completing the course I feel much more confident in understanding the X-T1, not a comfortable as with Canon (yet) ... there is definitely a learning curve moving from DSLR to mirrorless. So wish I would have taken this course a few months ago! Thank you!

John clearly is not a Fuji fan and this shows with dismissive language, a sense of frustration with the camera. "This is what I HATE about this camera", for example. I Ithink it's better not to provide a QuickStart guide if you don't believe in a product.

The X-T1 is intuitive, but I would have overlooked a lot of features if I hadn't taken this outstanding course. Fast passed, in a logical sequence, and every lesson was useful. Thank you, John... I'll be taking more of your classes.

I really enjoyed this as a way to get up and running quickly with my new Fuji (especially as a Canon user). Loaded with ah-ha moments. I could have done without the photography basics up front --- but it was easy to skip. Would also be nice to have a 2-3 pager with the "recommended settings" so you tune it right outta the box.

I find it very difficult to read the small pictures in the class material PDF. Is it possible to get clear pics? Great course, very informative. Thanks a lot!

John is as fantastic as ever. Straightforward and well paced enough to keep up but not be board.

Thank you I found the course very useful and it helped me a lot getting to grips with the camera. With regards to the updates the largest part that I think is missing is the new autofocus system. I found that at http://www.fujifilm-x.com/af/en/index.html there is a lot of useful information on this update that could come in handy until the course is updated.

I definitely would spend the $ for this course if it was only up-to-date with the changes in the firmware. Once it is brought up-to-date, I'll buy it, but not before.

I also agree that John needs to keep this course current. Fuji does regular updates & I believe this camera , the X-T1 is on version 4.3. This would be so very helpful. Thank you, Linda

The course is very enjoyable, and the very well explained. Also I want to congratulate John on his very clear voice and speaking, which one cannot always take for granted in American speakers. However, it would be a great bonus if we could get an update on the latest updates from Fuji, either as an extra chapter or - if this is to complicated - as a pdf-chapter. Thank you in advance.

This is an excellent class to get you started with your xT1 --well presented by John -- he is in my opinion, one of the best instructors ever! However, it would be so helpful to add a couple of chapters to cover the latest firmware upgrades. Any possibility of this?

Enjoyed it. Really fast start of usage and review of all functions and buttons and with extra tips and usage recommendation. Much more easy to learn and fun than drilling into the user manual. And from me, as a User Manual"" addicted, this is a good recommendation.

Have to agree with several others here . . . John Greengo is an excellent instructor and this class is sorely needed for X-T1 owners who are fairly new to the Fuji ecosystem. However, this particular class is now dated and is in need of a refresh (at least some new chapters) covering the latest 4.0 and 4.2 firmware updates. John, any chance of getting some new chapters up soon?

Great course, I received the X T1 and the first thing I did was see to if there was a course on CL I could use to get more aquanted with this awesome little machine. I have seen other course from John and he really knows his stuff, this one was no different. As a late comer to this camera, it would be nice if CL could update the course by adding a video going over the big 4.0 firmware updates, as that's the current one now. Thanks CL and John for helping me feel more at home with this camera!

Very thorough course. John has to be one of the best tutors around. I'd love him to do an update about firmware 3.00 and soon 4.00. After all John himself enthuses about how good Fuji are in updating their cameras!

I've purchased a number of John's courses and recognise how well he delivers complicated facts. Having just purchased a new X-T1 buying his fast start class was an obvious step, especially having looked at the manual. It was really well presented and made the switch from Canon so much easier. The inclusion of the notes was an excellent, additional support. I set up the camera as recommended and took it on a photo-shoot with my camera club a few days later. The content of the course and the settings suggested made the day. Now that I understood the camera it was easy to use and delivered great results first time. The course was the best 'accessory' I could have bought. Creative Live and John are a fabulous resource and so reasonably priced.

Great course, really helped me to understand my new X-T1. I had had the camera for a couple of months but not had much time to get to know it and how it works in comparison to my Canon. This course taught me what I needed to know quickly in an easy to understand way. Downloaded the files so I have easy access whenever I need a refresher, thank you.

Loved the course, tons better than wading through the manual. Downloaded the HD files to my iPad and plan to watch it again soon.
