Nikon D810 Fast Start with John Greengo

John is a fantastic educator, grabs your attention and keeps it.

I am doing Photography since long. After bought new Camera NIKON D810 I used it for two years and then came to know about John Greengo 's Class .After going thru I insight about Class increases to get better pics. John is very good Teacher and explaining step by steps. 'Happy'

I've had my camera a while, but never really took the time to understand all the features it was capable of. Good info, I took notes on the things I needed to do for my camera i.e. firmware update, getting the shutter release count, etc. This course goes through every setting in the camera so you'll come away with your camera fully set up correctly. Best to have your camera right there and following along. Great job!

The best course for a beginner or even a more advance user of the D810! This is the only video that has helped me understand and tackle all the buttons and features on the Nikon D810. Great instructor!

If you own a Nikon 810 you will love this class. I learned so much I couldn't believe it. It will be sooo much easier to operate my camera now. Mr. Greengo is a great teacher with great suggestions about how to make the camera work the way you want it to.

I have had my D810 for a year now and thought I knew most about the camera but I found out that I was mistaken. This is an awesome class and John is an awesome instructor. Very easy to understand and he really knows his stuff. This will definitely not be the last class I take from John. Highly recommend

Very helpful with getting to know this camera. I still has issues with navigating some parts of it, but it would have been even harder without John's class.

All of the instructors here at Creative live are fun and informative to watch and learn from. But when it comes to serious education and really getting into the detail of what you're trying to learn, I would say that John Greengo is that Top Instructor that everyone should be looking for. I have Quite a few classes that I've purchased from Creative live and I follow all the instructors pages and blogs and just continuously soak up knowledge from them... But whether you need broad instruction about a general subject like "photography" or something specific like This Course Fast Start Nikon D810, John is your Go-To guy. I also have his Fundamentals courses, his Nikon D5000 series class and his Beginners essentials class. (though I am not a beginner it's fantastic for brushing up on skills you may have forgotten) I not only recommend THIS class, but any class that John teaches. Especially his Fast Start Classes whether you're just getting a new camera model or you've had yours for a while and you want to learn more about it's capabilities.

Hey, it's "ok" but somehow visual examples would have brought the points home--just describing, for example, focus tracking with lock on is insufficient. There are certainly better books that illustrate exactly what happens when you take an action.

I loved it. I have been working with the D810 for almost a year and I know it fairly well but I have learn quite a few useful things. I considered Greengo a teacher easy to follow, even for foreigners.

If you own a Nikon D810, you will love this class. Excellent instructions by John Greengo. Very interesting and easy to understand. Wow, what a class, bit apprehensive at taking an online course but I was enthralled at the way John kept my interest and the size of the video are bite size enough to digest the information and assimilate. I bought a Nikon D810, whilst I don't profess to be a professional, I'd like to think that I'm a decent photographer and the move up from D300 was a massive decision and I always wanted to try and get on a course for that camera, but unfortunately, due to and cost in some cases it was not possible. I was determined to find something for the D810 and I came across creative live and I thought why not. I love the structure and I know more about the camera now than I did when I bought it 2 weeks ago. I watched all videos without the camera, just so I did not get distracted from what John was saying, now I will watch them again with the camera. Thank you so much for an interesting and engaging course, which was the better than being in a classroom.

Amazing class! John teaches just about everything you would need to know to get up and running with this camera. I even learned a bit about photography itself, with John offering suggestions on not only settings, but also on picture taking, as well. Someone on this comment board said John did not cover enough; I don't know what else he could have covered. He went through every single menu except the Retouching menu, because, after all, who wants to retouch in the camera? If you want more detail, I would suggest reading the manual. This is the class for all us us who want to be able to use this camera, but not read the manual. Thanks John!

John is a master teacher - I have three of his videos and would recommend them to anyone interested in a fast start - no nonsense - approach to learning. For the Nikon D810, John walks you through all of the camera's buttons, settings and menus - he also advises you on how to setup the camera and touches base on accessories.
