Fine Art Portraits with Brooke Shaden

Wonderful exploration of flower photography! Many useful tips and explanations.

In general, the content is really cool, but Brooke Shaden could show more images, and the making-of process, instead of speaking for so long time, sometimes it gets really borring.

This course is superb in my opinion. Brooke Shaden is an excellent visual storyteller and teacher.

Now i don't know the difference between fine arts and fine marketing.

It just changed my mind. Thanks, Brooke!

Some cool content in this class but audio level is low. Cmon creative live, you can do better than that. I'll help you if you want to give me unlimited streaming ;-)

I want to say that this is a very good course indeed. I don't do this sort of work very much, but there is something for everyone here. Brooke's first two 'lectures'/videos on finding inspiration were outstanding. I really like the way she build up her art, using the resources she has available, and simple Photoshop tools. Brilliant. Her connect with the audience is fantastic, and this in itself is something that keeps. you going. Brilliant.

Love her--loved the class. Wish it was longer, and wish she covered her editing much more thoroughly but it was a lot of information to cover. Brooke is smart and adorable.

I had lots of chuckles over the boat with sail. Being and experienced photographer and sailor, I could see why you would quickly be lost at sea in a sailing dinghy. Unless the breeze were coming over the stern, the model's hair and dress would not flip forward. Becalmed, the sail would just be slack and luff as the wind changes. But under a good wind, it would billow in a triangular shape and be taut. As many water scenes as you create, I suggest you take a class in sailing or a long weekend with a knowledgeable skipper. Bless your heart.

Brooke is just simply inspirational beyond words. This class is absolutely incredible. Because of the advice from this class, I was able to get into my first gallery! This is far better than any class you could ever take in college. I can't recommend this course enough.

Brooke is fantastic. She opens a new world to any photographer. I'm a wedding and portrait ph, I've never done fine art, but she pushes everybody to go beyond and find again his / her creativity! I loved the corse and I loved Brooke!

So inspiring, and fun. Brooke's work is wonderful, but her reliability, personality and authenticity are what make her such a special teacher.

i love this workshop. the only thing i think it's missing is taking the surprise challenge images through the editing process. i would have love to see this happen and i think it would have been exceedingly educational. i'm very sad that wasn't there. i still give it 5 stars though.

I started photography nearly three years ago, and came across Brooke's work a little over a year ago, and loved it. I have been leaning more into Fine Art ever since. I was gifted this course by a friend, and it is outstanding in everyway! Not only does Brooke do a great job in this in every way. But the Creating Live crew does a wonderful job, and the filming is done very well! Even though this was a gift, I am so impressed that I will definitely buy more Creating Live courses in the future, they are worth every cent!!!

Brooke is so inspiring! While my personal style isn't fine art I still learnt so much about defining my style and staying true to that. A great course and facilitator.

This is the first Creativelive course I followed and purchased, now I am on my 4th... I love the spontaneity and creativity of Brooke. She explains the process very clearly and her examples are treated in depth. This course is a great introduction to the compositing-fine art world and the techniques used are relatively easy to apply.

Brooke Shaden is an amazing and inspiring teacher and mentor. This course is totally worthwhile and easy to follow and gives you the tools to take your own work further. She is the kind of person who probably has a pet unicorn hiding in her closet but is kind enough to let you pat it!

To know how to pose someone else is an art, and she does it with gentleness and respect, firm and clear... love it!! There is so much to learn from her, editing, posing, creativity, business, love and kindness that is why I like to watch this course again and again. Thanks so much for bringing up these kind of opportunities.

This class is so creative and mind blowing. it will take your work to the next level. By far Brooke is one of the most creative photographers out there.

Brooke Shaden is the reason i started photography and watching her work keeps me inspired and give me drive to learn more. Not to mention watching her in action is just mindblowin she keeps everything sooooo simple that really bugs me lol and that's a true talent. Highly recommend even if you are not interested in Fine Art just take the course it will open up your mind to a whole new world.

I haven't made it all the way through this course yet, but I absolutely love Broooke and her teaching and creative style!

I often go back to this course and after 10 minutes find myself inspired all over again. Really incredible. Brooke is an engaging teacher, and makes creating stunning works of art look easy. Highly, highly recommended.
