Nikon D500 Fast Start with John Greengo

A must have! This is my 4th "Fast Start". Whether you are working with a new camera, or you've only dealt with the manufacturer's manual, you can definitely benefit from John's courses. So worth the money!!

John Greengo is the best! I purchased a Nikon D500 and this course around the same time. Because of this camera being so complex, I felt that a course would be beneficial. This course that John teaches is exactly what I needed. His knowledge of this camera as well as photography in general is exceptional. In fact, I own a couple of other courses presented by John and I also bought a couple of his books! I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to know the ins-and-outs of this D500! Thanks again John for a great course and your great way of explaining things with clear dialect and great visuals!

Wow! What a great class! John is a natural teacher, moving at a good pace and explaining things carefully, never assuming you already know more than you might. I just got my D500 last week and am so pleased to have gone through this entire class. I learned a LOT and took some notes to refer back to. I've also just bought a Z6 and have purchased John's class for that. Can't wait to dive in!!!

This course is fantastic and worth every penny. John expeditiously and clearly powers through a lot of material saving many hours stumbling through the manual.. I am transitioning from the D750, where I had also purchased his course.

I decided to check my Camera, and yes the split screen is there. Make sure you follow the directions Exactly....

I am glad to see from other reviews (see: I Am) that my D500 is not the only one that lacks some features John demonstrates. I watched lesson 11 several times and duplicated exactly what John did. My camera does not have a Split Screen option that is demonstrated in Live View by John.

John is a very good instructor, have seen John in a few other classes on Creative Live. Noticed though there were a few items shown that were NOT on my D500. Not that big of a deal but just an observation. Will be looking at other courses soon.

$1500 for a used D500. $36 for a class that explains what it does? No Brainer!!! And, the class is fantastic!!!! I got the app and downloaded several lessons, watched them on the plane. I cannot recommend this class highly enough!!!

What a great class! The D500 was a significant upgrade for me, and all of the options, menus and settings were overwhelming out of the box. This class does a great job of explaining everything on the camera with just the right amount of detail. I highly recommend this class.

I always enjoy John's classes, mainly because he explains things in a way that's easy to understand. I have several of his classes! Thank you for another great class!

Just started with this class but already learnt more than in the whole year I've got this camera. The manuals and books I bought about the D500 aren't as good as this class. I love it. And although I am Dutch he explains everything so clearly it is easy to follow. I already bought more classes from John Greengo. The only problem is there aren't enough hours in a day to watch. I'm still watching but I love the course,and I love the way John explains everything and shows examples..The D750 is my first full frame,however, I also have a d500 and will purchase athat class next. I'm learning a lot. Thanks to John

By The class. John is the gold standard for teaching. He repairs lessons to perfection. He speaks in ways students comprehend all that he presents. Never waste words. Never bores. Always demonstrates his points. I will continue to purchase his classes as they provide the best learning I have found. He is making me a much better photographer, both technically and creatively. You can't make good images if you don't know your gear. Hope he teaches lessons in Portland Oregon one day. I know Pro Photo Supply would sponsor him.

As a amateur "enthusiast" who loves taking sports shots of my kids, I was scared the Nikon D500 was going to me too much camera for me. But after taking this class, I feel a lot better about my purchase and am really excited about getting out there and shooting. John's class is so much easier than reading through a long manual. I wish there was a course like this for every camera I have purchased in my lifetime! Highly recommended.

Don't hesitate, just buy the class. John does an excellent job and goes above and beyond in explaining literally everything about the camera. Even as an experienced user of an D810, and a D300, I learned many new things. Great course.

I have to say I had been disappointed I had to work through parts of this course, it was so good! I purchased it, and going through it again was well worth it. I learned how to do so many of the functions, and when peered with John's Fundamentals, Lenses, and Nature/Landscape courses I think I have been taking much better pictures already. I do feel that if you have or are planning on getting the D500, this course and the others are very much worth it, and will help your techniques, getting you better photos.

I found this course really informative and could never have taken in all that information from reading the manual or finding bits and pieces online. John is extremely easy to listen to, there's no waffle yet he gives a bit more detail exactly where you need it.

I'm a fan of John Greengo. Ever since I bought my Nikon D500 a few months ago, I have been waiting for John to release a Fast Start class on the camera. He did not disappoint. Although this is not my first Nikon, and I have read thru all the user guides I could get my hands on, I still learn new things watching this class. It's a wonderful feeling. I can't recommend John's classes highly enough.
