Day 19: Notes in the Wild
This is 28 To Make. I'm Laura McCormick. This project is my favorite, it's called Notes in the Wild. All you need is a writing utensil and a notepad. I like to use Post-its 'cause they're sticky. So what I want you to do is identify an area around you, so right now we're in my home studio. So this is going to be the area in which I'm putting my Notes in the Wild. And for the first one, I'm gonna keep it really simple, and I'm just gonna write the word hot. So here it is. So notice if I put this on my head, the meaning turns into, I'm a hot head. If I put this on my dog, it says hotdog. But when I put this next to the stove, it becomes a cautionary label sort of warning people that this is hot. So walk around with your notes, look at objects, think of what speaks to you, what words come into your head. Place them in different locations. You can even leave them for somebody else to find, if you wanted to write a note that makes you smile. It's always nice to spread ch...
eer. I can't wait to see what your notes say. I can't wait to see where you put them. Share them with me using the #28toMake. (uplifting music)
