  • If he's been using the software since it began, why does he use the term "font" for "typeface". Fonts are NOT typefaces; typeface is the style of lettering. Also, an ellipse is not an oval and an oval is not an ellipse.

  • This is what I wanted to learn about Lightroom.

  • As relevant as ever, a treasure trove of lighting information.

  • I loved everything — the personal story, the artist's style, insights into living and working in Alaska, the tutorial in the wild, editing and the shooting process. These lessons are truly great, and I think I’ll watch them again to revisit some of the interesting details. Thanks!

  • These classes are great! The blog is great also!

  • John has taken the time out to not just go through what every option does, but how well they work and how they apply to the real world. I did his (excellent) Fundamentals of Photography course but this dovetailed into that and gave me a lot more. Highly recommended!

  • Great course, John Greengo is my favorite presenter I like all his courses. Thank you so much

  • I really like his course. I completed 2 course one is after effect and another is premiere pro. He designed his course very well and teach every single section. That very easy to understand. I love this course.

  • Jan/2025 Great short class with condensed relevant content regarding the basics of photography. Amazing teacher - clear speech, straight to the point, and with a nice jokes and funny demos.

  • Brilliant class, highly recommended!

  • This course was fantastic! Pye is an incredible teacher. He knows not only his stuff, but also how to explain it and make it simple for the beginner. I knew very little about flash photography when I started, and I'm no pro now, but I understood all the bases and am ready now to start working on it. I can't wait to start trying all this stuff out! I also loved that he is very engaging and funny, making the course interesting and easy to follow without getting bored. I definitely recommend this!

  • It is just amazing course created by Daniel and Creativelive! Really helpful and informative. My workflow has changed in editing and printing. I would 100% be recommending that course to other people! Thank you!

  • Brillant ! What an educator. Chris has the talent to make all technical difficulties easily understandable and uses the right tools for it. Many thanks for all the energy and the work that he put to achieve such a remarkable result.

  • Great starter class with just the right amount of information to pique your interest to learn more about each topic. Highly recommend for the beginner to start here!

  • learn many new things

  • I have watched a lot of classes and tutorials on lighting and this is the best of them all. So much information about all aspects you need to know to become a light master. Thank you!

  • Great course!

  • I enjoyed watching this course and watched it four times. Chris gives very good explanations and I like how he changes the scenery for his explanations and gives examples. I watched this as a free course and will definitely purchase it. 10/10.

  • Thanks a lot for assembling a very good course. It was great watching and will be very helpfull, so I highly recommend it.

  • Fantastic class! Very thorough, well organized, and easy to understand. This was exactly what I needed. I feel much more confident getting started in large format. Highly recommend!

  • Very comprehensive. Recommend it. But I honestly have to admit the longer I am in this one it becomes chaotic and too wordy. I had moments I wanted to quit this one because once it's halfway I miss some structure.

  • you are doing well

  • John has a helpful way to demonstrate how to learn and understand some of the terminology of using a camera. This class breaks down a LOT of the complicated areas into simple language and with examples that can be understood to someone that is starting out in photography. John has a friendly approach with a clear voice for teaching a beginner. Learning is also about doing, making mistakes, understand what I need to apply to get the shot right. I have some homework to do to do. Shoot in raw, composition, direction of light angles. I would certainly RECOMMEND this course. Excellent explanation on learning. Helen😊 ( Australia)

  • This is among the finest Photoshop courses available online. It closely mirrors an in-person class experience, complete with assignments and a workbook. I look forward to the day they offer the same class designed for Photoshop on the Pc.

  • John is an amazing teacher and photographer.
