Why I felt so strongly about creating the templates is because, and sharing the templates, is because the templates actually work. So I don't like proposing something so staunchly, because my opinions are just like (snaps fingers) let's go guys, without knowing that we actually get results. Mital said, and she sells supplements, 'cause people will say, "Well that only works in some industries." Oh, okay, let's talk about supplements. "I ended up with J*'s direct message template "and I customized it for my supplement business. "Yesterday, decided to message some of the big following, "for me at least counts with over 20 thousand followers, "businesses that align with my vision. "Out of the five, four read and all are interested." How long did this take her? And now she has four accounts with over 20 thousand people who want to collaborate. te. "I actually talked to you via DM on advice and "how to reach out and collaborate with another Instagrammer "and we talked via DM and I did an Instagram takeover "in her stories." They swapped Instagram accounts to do takeovers, to cross pollinate their customer oceans. Ooh, I like that. Jackie Brooks, "I've had the most inquiries "and bookings and meetups through direct messaging "and I booked a client two weeks ago." So, I can take proof from the fact that people making one to one connections are what's converting into customers. I myself as a business owner is in the handshaking, baby kissing, dog petting game of do you want to get to know me on Instagram, and if you do, do you trust me? Do you like me? Do you believe that I could be your guide? All of that again and again and again. Studies, 'cause I'm a nerd, it takes people four months to decide to join Social Carrier. My community is not a high ticket item. Four months to have somebody spend less then $50. If you are selling something that is a high ticket item, and you want to sell, how long do you think it's going to take to convert? And then the question then becomes am I in the game for it? So, we're closing this up. What do we know? That we have to show up consistently with a strategy. Now right about this time, I'm gonna hear people, the two percentages of people who are watching say, "It's not gonna work for me because" and then they're gonna list all of these reasons. And these reasons can sound very similar to curator Lisa Northcraft. They could sound very similar to a jewelry designer who sells something so specific in a tiny market that's very high end. She sells Native American jewelry designs, and her big purpose is to give back to the the reservations. And she uses Instagram only for her marketing. She uses nothing else, and her idea is, "Hey, Jasmine, I have this idea "to increase my sales by telling personal stories." I was like, "Okay." And she wants to do it via DM. Cool. When she shares her story, it connects her to her purpose and her heritage. So she started connecting and she started sharing on Instagram direct message. "To turn the DMs into sales," she says, "I look at my followers' posts and if I see "a common point of interest, I leave a comment there. "Then I DM them adding a bit more connective comments "regarding the same topic to hopefully engage." Please make note of the word hopefully. She goes in open minded. I hope you talk back to me. So what happens, Lisa? What happens you selling Native American jewelry? How does that work out for you when you share your stories on Instagram DM? How does it turn out for you when you sit up every single morning and you send somebody a message? She's experiencing 35% growth in her business. She says, "Jasmine, I've had the most amazing "collaborations with fashion designers." She's been the exclusive jeweler at fashion shows, big fashion shows on the East Coast, in Vegas, at the Mirage, at the MGM. She's a featured designer in boutiques, 'cause when people see her there, and they get to know her, and she DMs and says I can come to you and I can set up a pop up shop, and they all say yes, why? Because she's human. Lisa doesn't have a website. Lisa is in a niche industry. Lisa does one on one custom designs. All the reasons an Instagram direct message probably wouldn't work, and yet, she has 35% growth. And 15,500 followers. She has built a business speaking to people one on one. She says, "To people who are hestitant "to take this step in their business, "I say be brave. "Direct messages are the best thing "I've received from Instagram personally. "There are so many amazing people and experiences "out there waiting for you and "you're one step closer to a beautiful win!" With an outlook like that, it's no surprise she's winning. I hope they respond to me. I will be brave. I am one step closer to a win. So let's review our notes. We have to use Instagram direct messages consistently. And it is not easy. It is not fun. It is not glamorous. It is not scalable, but it works. Why? Because direct messages build trust, drive engagement, and turn your followers into customers. Y'all, we're still building up the system, and guess what? We're doing it one by one. That slow growth that when you came into the doors yesterday and if I were to tell you, "Ignore the algorithm. "Slow growth. "One by one. "Show up and create content when no one's paying attention. "You be the leader in your industry. "You become the media. "You become the curator. "You become the marketer." Y'all would have stayed right outside. Just coming on in, guys. Showing you the path. Are you going to show up?

And incredible class, so meticulously worked out & prepared to make it as legit as any online class can ever be. The amount of work CL team & J* has put into making this workshop is mind blowing. The idea of picking 2 businesses, working on their social platforms for 30 days exactly on the lines of what she has taught here and then presenting the stellar outcomes as proof is just incredible. I guess there is rarely any tutorial out there on the web that has put up such efforts to walk the talk & show that it is doable. And the way J* has laid it out makes this doable by anyone! Jasmine isnt the nerdy type, she knows the rules of game & plays it with heart & wins it like a boss. Am a super fan of her for exactly this reason. However, max content is focused on Insta, and little focus on FB. Her energy is vivacious, you cant doze off while she is talking. She talks like Ferrari on nitro boosters, even when she is giving impromptu suggestions or replying questions on the fly. Thankyou so much CreativeLive for everything you do and Jasmine you da boss! Wrote a lot, but this class deserves. The 1st day's lessons alone are worth the class price. Highly highly recommended.
