Posing Hands and Mouth

So let's, just have a look at a couple of model hands that aren't necessarily portrait hands, hands that just touched the outside of the hear that float I call them smoking hands like I always say to people, I'll come and stand here and we'll just take a couple of hand shot so we can make notes in your manual, but I always say, float your hand like you're smoking cigarette stuff because the cigarette hand is sort of like how you would smoke a cigarette, but you don't want them to be like they're so you want the hand to be here and it instantly comes out into like a I call it like you smoking a cigarette. Secondly, I always say this chin up a little bit, election mouth, okay, so I'm like chin up election mouth. Okay, now the only thing you can do in the model type shots that you can't do in the portrait shots is to touch the mouth because in a portrait, when do we have attached your mouth? It doesn't make scenes, is the model hands can do it? Okay, come back with your face towards me, w...

e'll definitely do this a little bit more with beauty, lovely and then the touch under the chin, the long chin touch on the thames is very beautiful, very beautiful all right, so the cigarette hand is a really good one but here's one that I think is really great I want you to re election mouth lips together and I want you to do a very gentle, almost like kiss like this so I call it the kiss because I feel like if you say power, you get duck mouth, you know? So if you say it's like a kid so just like a kiss and whenever I say like a kiss I will be directing here and taking shots and then I'll be cassidy reelection mounting up and then I'll say lips together like a kiss and straight away she'll go back to the kiss it's just very gentle temples in hand yeah, it's just like like you're just going to go but it's not like that because we've all saying that and what that open mouth because the model mouth push forward with your chin push for an election mouth okay, relax it open a little bit more that's it that as far as it goes okay open any further that is not that's put something in my mouth and it's horrible and I don't want people to be posing like this because over mouth it's just wrong and it's not you won't see it in fashion magazines okay, then if you can get them to do that relax open mouth and now stay like that open mouth but with a tiny smile there is the ultimate expression if you can get that not many people can do it but you just don't make them like this I want you to just focus on my voice relax your mouth all of you do this election mouth lovett how you'll set up election mouth relax it open now give me a tiny little smile while it's open in your eyes and mouth very good to that's a really beautiful model style I like what you said just listen to my voice because it stops you from anything else yeah you gotta hypnotize your clients you gotta hit the typhoon advertise them and you know practice my accent it's a crown it works fine yeah yeah I think mine's better than half the offense half british wait can I just get the kiss? We didn't shoot it. Okay? Yeah little sosuke bringing hands back tio almost touching the lips so when you were just out that's a girl and then I want you teo just coffee tea I'll come here. I want to get that it's really subtle so just bring your hand out a little bit more and I just want you to go that's a girl just push a little bit more little kiss it is it just literally titans here, doesn't it just attach, I think, it's, just a great word. I think people say that really strangest things when they're posing people, and I'm always like it's, really simple, keep it really simple. People understand simple things. They understand reelection mouth. I do not like open your lips. Yeah, I kind of think, if somebody said, open your lips, too, may I'd be like like, how far on two may relax your mouth, is it? Relax your mouth, election mouth, chin up and ford election melting up and ford election mountain up, ford election mouth beautiful. Open your mouth a little further, is okay.

Spectacular class.!!! This is what it is like on a professional set. Time is money and the director gets the shot, Taking direction is the key attribute for the talent and crew.. That means tempers are high, there is humor and passion while cajoling the set to work together. The energy was amazing on this set. I loved their working relationship. Sue and Felix both have their vison for getting the shot. And they got it. I highly recommend this class.

Sue Bryce has what my Thai friends would call a teacher's heart. It is hard to translate but basically means caring, deeply knowledgable, dedicated to constant improvement and possessing the ability to present to students in an easily understandable and accessible manner. "Near enough" is never "good enough'. In a word she is a professional. This course is highly recommended for developing a framework for photographers to work from. Sue Bryce also has many additional pieces of inspirational advice along the way in terms of styling and costume. A talented teacher who presents practical steps that can easily be adopted by others. Impressive!
