Let me just go to the last stage here all right so on the last stage let me just go here tio by the way if you hold the old key and click on the eyeball of any layer it turns all of them off except that one and then you khun put him on one at a time okay so here is the layer I just painted all that beige around there instead of fixing all this cracks I painted it on top and there's my words and I did a little bit of occurs adjustment layer and the fish I just did this brown in overlay and then the blood of the fish head I didn't soft light the skin was soft light and now sometimes on faces you don't want super pink cheeks and a lot of times with men and older people there's coloration but it's not pink it's like yellowish so like if there's tubby parts of a face it's a little yellow er than other parts so sometimes you want the variations in there so you might add little bits like this is little bits of yellow on his face did the pants soft light and the sky and the sky actually is in ...

color it's um and you just pretty much play around to get the right color sky it doesn't even look like blue on here but just play around with it till it looks the way you want

This is a great course for someone interested in offering a photo restoration service, perhaps as a business opportunity. However, it does require an above average skill level in using Photoshop. I would strongly recommend Ben Willmore's course also offered here on CreativeLive first as a prerequisite before taking this course. Also, in the course, Suzette recommends a free color guide for faces, that can be obtained from her website, but I have tried and cannot find it at all. It would have been great if it was provided as course material for subscribers to this course! Anyone knowing where we can download the file she quotes: "ColorGuideFaces.jpg", please let us know.

Amazing! Suzette shows you techniques that are SO much simpler than you have used in the past to remove spots, cracks, and tears. Faster, more effective, and BETTER end results! The technique to colorize an old B&W photo was fabulous! I used to do handpainting black & whites by hand. With the skills Suzette shows you, you can now do this beautifully and easily in Photoshop. She uses restoration examples in this class, but the skills could be used with any new photos, as well. Thank you, Suzette!

Love Suzette's teaching style and she was very thorough in her explanations of each thing she does. I also bough Matt's restoration class, this one by far has more information although his was great also. Would like to see Suzette back on creative live again :)
