Brilliant class!

Yes, it's 2024 and this camera is an oldie but a goodie - I still have it along with my 5D mk IV - and I still come back to this class from time to time - So if you have purchased a 7D and are unsure of it - This is your class

Very worthwhile. Well worth the time and money spent. I've had this camera for about 4 years and while I understand the basics of photography having learned on manual film cameras cameras many years ago, I could never find the settings or features I needed when I needed them. Also, John is a very gifted and engaging teacher and I enjoyed the several hours I've spent with him over the last few days. Thanks, John!

Every time I upgrade my camera, I can rely on John Greengo to walk me through it! Took this class recently and previously I took the 5DMIII class. Highly recommend. It's A LOT! I go back about every 6 months and learn more! I watch over and over. Hope he has one for the IDX in a few years.

This is a really great course. Well paced and with very clear information and presentations. Well worth the money and the time. I watched every part and was amazed at some of the "basic" information that I wasn't aware of. It will be my go to reference for the camera and I'm sure will help my photography. The information on the focus modes and setting was great. Thanks

John is such a fabulous educator. Well spoken, knowledgeable and he presents with such clarity and easy, it makes listening that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend taking this class and any of his classes dealing with photography. HE simplifies the menu system and buttons on the camera in this course that would be painstakingly long if you tried it on your own. I have watched this video 2-3 times know and each time I go back, I learn a little more. Being able to drop into any of the main topics with easy, not having to watch and search for your desired info is so convenient. I will never buy another camera without checking to see if John has completed a review on it........I trust his opinion. Thanks John......I am a fan.

Great course. Easy to follow and understand.

He explains very well, goes at a good speed, and shows the screen with labels and explanations. Super helpful in getting much more out of your DSLR camera.

I have had my canon 5d IV for a while and could get my head around all the option and settings.....this as solved all that and is presented in simple and easy to understand way by John 10/10

Just a tip, John. What some call "vertical" is, normally, called portrait mode. At least, when I was younger it was.

This class was invaluable to me. As an amateur/student of photography, the one thing that's always challenged me is the technology of my camera and how all the settings work together. Learning the fundamentals of lenses is what has been missing in my self-education. I am so much better informed now! The problem? John gives us SO MUCH valuable information that I will need to watch specific lessons again in order to absorb it all this amazing information.

I learned so much about my canon camera in this course. John is an excellent teacher because he shows you and demonstrates the functions of the camera so you can really understand it. I feel so much more knowledgeable about my camera now and feel more confident to take better photos. Thank you John!!!

This is extremely good class to get to know your Canon EOS 60D. I have learnt and enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others. Reading instruction manual was a daunting task and this course just explained everything I needed to know very simply and understandably.

John Greengo is a wonderful teacher. He anticipated any questions one might have and answered them before anyone asked. He is clear, concise, and always on topic...no rambling, self-absorption, or off-color remarks. I wish he taught everything I want to learn. He's great!

I just bought a 5DS-R. Without John's explanatory "How to", I would have completely lost. Very very helpful.

Just turning 60, I'm a bit of a late bloomer, having used very simple cameras all my life, like my trusty Canon Powershot... I received a Canon 4000D/T100 for by birthday and was so delighted with it that I went out and purchased a 5D Mark IV. However, I didn't realize how much more of a camera the 5D is and was a bit dismayed by the 600 page manual it came with and the daunting amount of buttons, dials, switches and controls! Thank goodness for John's class on the 5D! He's made it really easy for me to follow along and start taking the kinds of pictures I've always wanted to, but was never able to for one reason or another. I whole-heartedly recommend this course to anyone with a Canon 5D Mark IV camera! John is such a knowledgeable tutor and he has a really easy-going demeaner that makes watching his videos a real pleasure.

John is what I consider "the perfect instructor"! His clear, concise speaking demeanor simplifies very complicated subject matter. I learned dozens of new or previously uncertain tricks and tips...unbelievable! I am so impressed with this class, that I now intend to purchase his class for the Canon 5D Mark iV. Really great - I am so much further ahead than I would have been on my own! Began my love for photography in the 1970's with the manual camera Olympus OM-1 . Loved it, but life seemed to take up all my time. Fast forward decades and photography is very different. I needed to touch on the basics once more, and familiarize myself with the new technology. Well Done and Thank You !!!

Don't hesitate to buy this class! It has left me feeling more confident about using this camera. The only negative thing I can say is that the whole class is about the Canon T6s and I have the T6i. It would have been nice for him to have both cameras side by side to show how things work on each. But that said, I was still easily able to figure things out for my T6i. It was so easy to learn from this class and so glad I bought it.

John Greengo is probably the best instructor I have come across in my short photography journey. I learned a lot about the camera, something that would have been difficult without the help of the M5 course. Thank you.

I really do feel i know my new camera now, and i love that the menu system for the class is so involved, makes it easy to come back to things. thanks John, another brilliant course!!

Amazing class, I walk away feeling like I've made this machine my own. Like getting a new car and adjusting all the seating and mirrors and radio stations to your comfort, then giving it a name because its officially yours. My camera now feels more comfortable to use and I can't wait to use it again with these new found tweaks. Thanks John, always a great class!
