LIVE Podcast Demo
I told creative live that I was into a live demo I've never done a podcast with an audience before some actually looked a little nervous um but we're gonna do this I'm gonna show you how easy it is so how many of you don't have a podcast again? Okay, cool so I'm going to do a live demo I'm gonna do a show how simple this is so my first episode of my podcast this is all used was voice memo first episode on my phone how many of you have an iphone? Pretty much everyone um and this is all you so I don't have any fancy equipment I only fancied gears it's up on the thing yeah um so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to record this I'm going to record a three to five minutes episode with an audience which I've never done that I show you how simple it is the whole process from recording it tio what I do next okay, so let me begin so when I do this I'm just gonna ask you to be quiet for a few minutes while I do so I could get the best audio quality, so usually I'll use something else other equipmen...
t we'll talk about later but I'm gonna tell you how easy it is to use your iphone and you could make it sound incredible um with a couple little tweaks I mean I got a look at you guys I'm not really focus ok, so this is a uh I'm gonna do what's called a five minute friday how many of you have heard of my podcast five minutes friday so I do a five minute friday every friday I do like a five minute inspirational episode and on monday wednesday a record I usually do an interview right or do a longer form episode okay, so this is usually whatever I'm feeling in my life whatever's coming out from that week I'll talk about that experience for all or I'll write out a script something inspirational and uh and then I'll share it on fridays so what I wanna talk about right now is the seasons of our life the seasons of our life I'm going to show you the entire process someone record the intro going through the episode and I'm going to the outro you guys can kind of see how this whole works I'm recording this now I usually wouldn't record it right now, but I'm just recording it. This is five minute friday episode number two forty one and you've got to appreciate the seasons of your life what's up everyone this is louis house and I'm very excited to talk about seasons right now I'm going through an incredible season of my life on a lot of people ask me about balance how do you balance being a busy entrepreneur creating new things focusing on your podcast your business having your team working out being in relationships how do you balance everything in your life and I tell people that you can't you can't balance everything in your life all the time because life has seasons when I played football we would build up a preseason into the season and in the postseason and then there will be a recovery phase if I was to play a playoff game every week I want to be a walk today and I want to be able to think at all because my brain would be so damaged if guys never took a break and never had an offseason they'd never be able to prepare for the season and the playoffs I want you guys to think about where you're at currently in your life are you in a transition did you just go through a job where you didn't appreciate it and now you're looking for a new job did you get through a relationship and now you're single are you in a new relationship are you building a business think about what season of life you're in and recognize it for a moment I just want you to take inventory on it and realize that you're exactly where you know need to be right now you may think you want to be a farther ahead you may think you're not doing as well as you want but it's all good because life is about seasons right now I am in the middle of one of the busiest, most overwhelming moments of my adult business career and that's because I have a book that's out right now that I'm putting all of my energy and everything into and over the last year I've been planning preparing uh training for my health, my mind, my relationships doing whatever it takes to prepare for what I called the playoff season. Now if I was in the playoffs the entire year leading up to this moment I would not have the energy to perform at a high level my body, my mind would be a wreck so I want you to look at what season you're in there are seasons to prepare their season to train there are seasons to recover and your business your relationships, your health, your life and it's okay, if you're not at the top of your game every single moment of every single year, there are seasons and I want you to learn about how to recover and how to transition in the re evaluate your visions in your dreams because once we achieve our dreams, it's time to evaluate and see what we want next and that's okay, right now I'm in a harvest season where I'm going above and beyond harder than I've ever pushed my mind in my body I'm staying up later I'm doing mohr interviews, I'm creating more. Our team is on high octane fuel right now, doing whatever we can to achieve the dreams we set out as a team into impact as many people as possible in the world in this moment and it's not a time to balance my life, it's a time to go all in and then there will be a time to reflect. So I want you guys to think about where you're at your life right now in your business right now, you're healthy relationships and enjoy this season. This is five minute friday episode number two forty one thank you guys so much for showing up every monday, wednesday and friday and taking action on what we talked about on these episodes of greatness. You guys continue to inspire me. You continue to lift me up with your messages, your stories and I appreciate your support so very much. You can get a copy of my book. Lewis how's dot com slash book right now to support the movement of greatness if you feel stuck if you feel like you're not sure where you want to go next in your life and your business, and make sure to pick up a copy because it's all about getting you to that next level and if you know a friend. Who is interested in figuring out how to get to the next step or who's struggling then make sure to get a copy for them as well again it's louis house dot com slash book and this is luis house dot com slash two for one thank you again so much for all you d'oh you guys know what time it is it's time to go out there and do something great that's it uh that's larry the whole process let me just play it back like we could see if this works for a second so this is a uh I'm gonna do what's called a five minute front okay, so the audio worked two recorded I'm going to savor a click I haven't done this in my office in a while something make sure uh five men friday time to say this and then I'm going to message this all I would do is email this to someone you want to do is I'm gonna e mail this hey, send this it's on airplane mode from howto do this later uh but that's gonna send once I get off and that's it that's it I'm done with my duties of the podcast, so once I record it I send it off to my editor which I want you to do soon learn how to do this and my editor's spends the next three hours doing everything else for two hours or however long this probably take fifteen, twenty minutes, dad it's not that hard, and that is the process of recording and me being complete, and I want you guys to get to that point where you're not editing it yourselves or you're more creating it, and you're outsourcing it because I think the editing phase is a lot of what? Because people hung up on because it takes a lot more time. Thanks a lot more energy could be frustrating things like that. So I'm gonna unplug this and that's the process. I just want to show you guys how easy it is, and I could do it all on my iphone, and I've done some episodes on my iphone and people don't even notice writes a lot of people get hung up on the equipment, how many of you guys have been won? I've ever asked a question, which mike, should I buy anyone yet, right? So, um, it doesn't matter which mike you should buy. I am always improving and finding new ways to up up the game in the production value, but it doesn't really matter when you start out. In my opinion, what matters more is about the consistency and the quality of the information and the guest we have on
