How to Pitch to a Travel Brand
I wanted Teoh talk about pitching, travel brands and boards of tourism's. And again, we've covered a lot of this back there. But we have to remember, as much as we're wanting something from them, they definitely are needing something back from us. We are the content creators there, just content aggregators. They're the ones that are collecting content and have deadlines to show that content. And they are constantly looking for photos and story ideas and things. So you are exactly what all of them are looking for. So just remember that that, like they are looking for you as much as you're looking for them. So remember, be a content creator and keep creating like part of this is writing. Creating were talking so much about that, whether it be in videos, social media, which will dive into later and writing, and all these ways just keep on creating content and then you're gonna be super valuable. So travel brands and boards of tourism's way talk a little bit about the boards of tourism's i...
n the last segment. But they are like the PR company for a country, so they have a budget and they want to use they want to use that budget to bring journalists out to travel in their country and have a really fun trip and have you write about it, have you photograph it? So just remember, they're kind of the ones that the budget, some bigger travel brands have a budget as well. But usually the boards of tourism's are the ones that partner travel brands and will create an awesome itinerary for you to come on a trip. So if you sometimes reach out directly to, you know, a cruise line or something like that, they usually have a pretty decent budget. But a lot of times they won't have a budget, and it might be better to go to the border tourism. So knowing how to pitch them is really, really important. And that's what we're going to really dive into in this segment and example pitch letters. And by all means, I'm going to show you what I've done. There's a lot of other ways to do it in your own style, but I want to share with you what I've done and what has worked for me.

I've been listening for, like, two hours. OMG. Like, I could, like, you know, get more from this if, like, she stopped jibbering and get to, like, you know, the topic? She sounds more like a rambling stream-of-thought teenager than a mature adult giving a succinct organized presentation. In two hours, I have, like, learned about two or three things I can, like, use. Like, Ehhhh...? It's like, bor-ing! Like, whutttt? Is she, like, 15 or what? Sheesh.
