Sample Media Visit Form
I wanted to show you guys a sample media visit form s. So let's say that you've done all the things that I brought up and you've pitched it and they love you. And they were really interested in you coming out and doing a trip, you know, for the border tourism or for some company just tell you how important social media is. Literally half of their questions for you are gonna be social media related. So on here, they asking your travel dates in your length of stay. Sometimes you don't have that ahead of time. And you're like, I'd like to come Maybe July, I don't know. But you can just give them a kind of a guesstimate your full name on your passport. They then ask for your title who you're writing for. And again, they asked for the circulation and all the people that are like, read that publication distribution. You can usually find out that information online target audience that is usually kind of a genre. I'll say something like 20 to 50 year olds or 20 to 45 year olds that are really...
adventurous and love to travel, eat and stay in all ranges of hotels from global. I'll just kind of give, like, a little sentence of, like, the people I'm hoping to reach. That's the target audience outlet website, you know, like huffingtonpost dot com. But then social media platform, this is all you. They want to know what your reaches on Facebook. Twitter, Pinterest, instagram ut of all that stuff. It is important they care about it. And then they also like to know the expected publication date expected around pages. Or like what you think you could give to them. And in the word expected is you know exactly that. Nobody like sometimes you can guarantee, pup, you know, press, and sometimes you can't. But you tell them what you think that you should be able to deliver. Um, but this I just wanted to show this really quickly, not spend a lot of time of it just to show you how important. Like they don't even really care much about me. They're like, Okay, cool. But like, how many followers so art life in business? I wanted to bring up Blair de la been fellows again because for those of you out there that are like I don't know how to write for myself. I don't know how to curate my images. I don't no How would have the time to kind of have a portfolio review of my work or maybe get some press about me? Or maybe I just don't know how to write articles Like all these things that I've talked about. Maybe it's not your strong suit. Blair has a creative consulting for artists and entrepreneurs where she literally as a consultant, will come and she'll meet with you. So help you do business strategy. She's actually local here in Seattle, but she could do it via Skype over the phone, all that stuff. She used to be the owner of June Bug Weddings, but she has spent her life basically curating photographers and artists. And she's such a wide variety of media background that she knows exactly what they're looking for. And she's taken publications and submissions like her whole life. So she's really savvy and can help you. Basically, Taylor yourself, curate yourself. You're writing all of that. So I wanted to give Blair little shot out because, you know, there are people out there that can help you that can almost like beer unofficial business coach, and help you to do this better if you're feeling overwhelmed and you don't know where to begin.

I've been listening for, like, two hours. OMG. Like, I could, like, you know, get more from this if, like, she stopped jibbering and get to, like, you know, the topic? She sounds more like a rambling stream-of-thought teenager than a mature adult giving a succinct organized presentation. In two hours, I have, like, learned about two or three things I can, like, use. Like, Ehhhh...? It's like, bor-ing! Like, whutttt? Is she, like, 15 or what? Sheesh.
