So that's, why it's green it's you know you can't miss it, so go in there and create an ad don't worry about this warning sign right here is just that I have add block up right now so I don't get I don't see any ants, but you probably won't go through that hoops and then you're going to pick boost your posts and then you can select the page that you want to advertise for someone to choose tiny hands and then now it's going to show you all of the different posts that you can choose to advertise. to shares its not that great I've seen better. Ow this actually did really well, so this one got two hundred fifty one likes twenty nine comments, twenty eight, shares that's actually pretty good, like even the one on the bottom here only got this was actually the original post that I was going to show you guys to do an ad for, but turns out this one did better, right? So make sure that you're choosing a post that has a picture of your product or, you know, behind the scenes or whatever, don't pick a post that is other people's content, because then you're only advertising for other people, so pick a post that is related to your company and your product. Oh yeah, so ad block is an app for chrome that yu can install, and what it does is it turns off all the ads on the entire internet. So on google search on facebook, it turns off all the ads for you, and the only reason I have that up for me personally is because I'm very susceptible to ads. I liked to buy stuff, actually like ads, I feel they helped me, so so I don't spend all hard earned money that I make, I turned them off for my sake, so it's a cool ad for you to have turned on if you're kind of like me or if you're frustrated with seeing all of these ads um, I believe they probably have one for firefox and safari as well, but I primarily use chrome so that's what I have up here so I'm going back to paid your advertising here what I want you to do that once you selected that post that you've identified has gotten the highest number of engagement, I want you to go to the bottom right here two connections and then you're going to select a connection type this is where you're going to select on ly people who like your page and then you're not typing your page. This ensures that again you're you're only going to advertise your boost post to people who are already fans of your page now then we can go back up here and if you want, you can talk will some of these vocations if you want, like I have a lot of people in the united kingdom who are fans of oh, I actually have found that in the uk they don't oh there it worked maybe canada or australia you can add that in here too if you wanted and then to age all of this stuff up here now is pretty much optional it's up to you, you khun toggle these if you want, but you don't have to sometimes I like to make sure the age is a little bit higher than that's like, maybe twenty two or twenty three, and this to me is just that I want to reach people who have some purchasing power, so you're eighteen year out of college or out of high school, and you don't really have that much money to spend, so I want to target people who probably already have jobs and who have disposable income to spend on, um but all this stuff is pretty optional. I want you to do a scroll to your budget here and then change this to five dollars a day and then don't forget to set a start an end date, so let's say, I'm going to do this for we scroll down a little bit so you can see better for three days. So this is also the tricky thing facebook is going to automatically assume that you want to do this for a month. So it's going to show you the calendar for the next month? And if you don't notice that sometimes you might try to do oh fifteen to the eighteenth and then without realizing that you have it scheduled for a whole month in advance, and then you can see one hundred twenty dollars no, I I wasn't planning on spending that much, so make sure you go back to the month that you're in and just pay attention to that so well actually show you how much money you're going to be spending on this. I mentioned you're not you're probably not going to spend all of that money. Everything else here don't change any of that, and then down here, remember I had mentioned that you're going to have three options for where your ad is going to be featured s o the desktop newsfeed, you definitely want that mobile news feed you want that? But this is the desktop right column, whereas I said there's a sidebar on the right of your facebook news feed that doesn't do so well for converting into likes and it's just looking a really tiny photo and you can't really see anything and like you can even see the text is cut off because you can only have so many characters so completely remove this whole thing and that's going to save you some money, too, and then all you have to do place your order and you're pretty much set.
