Repurposing Content for Other Platforms
so there's some more ideas for you. Another way to become discoverable is to repurpose the content that you have. So what are some ways that we can repurpose content? Always ask, What can I do with the story that I've just created? I've put my my heart and soul and time and energy into telling the story. I saved it to memories. I've exported it to my own phone. What do I do with it? Now that I have it, I choose to repurpose very little because I want to drive people to snap chan intentionally. But there are sometimes I will want to give people a taste. So I will upload it to YouTube Or to Vimeo or to Twitter because that is an audience that many of them might not yet be following me on Snapchat. So we've gone through memories. ideo. Facebook video is powerful, especially once you've done something you're really proud of. And you will You're gonna get in Snapchat and it's gonna click. You know, you might stumble for a little bit as you try to find your voice on it. But once you find that you're gonna be like I created this Napster piece, I just would hate for Onley this group of people to have seen it. So go uploaded some of your other places, drive more people to see it, let them invite them into the conversation. And you don't have to take your whole story like there some days that I will do some experiential snapping and then I'll tell a story. And then I might end with something else experiential, and I only want to share that piece of it just the middle piece. That's the really unique part. And so I will bring it in tow. My movie on my Mac book. If you're a free editing app, I will bring it into Windows movie maker on PC. It's also free, and there's some cool laps, and if we can go to the phone for just a moment, I think I will pull this one up. So this one's called Video Rama, and this actually lets you you'll see at the bottom. There's project sizes, including the portrait size, which is the perfect Snapchat size. So editing a video in this format is really easy to do. Um, so there's SOO. Be right there and I could edit it right here in this and just take, you know, a couple second clip if I wanted to and export this to a video that I can post anywhere else. You know, if you've got a story that's longer than Twitter's limits, you might want to edit it first. Or you just might want to show a clip. Think in terms of a movie. Trailer teasers, right? Don't give him the whole thing. If you got a really compelling story, take a short piece of it, bring him to a cliffhanger and then say toe watch the rest of the story to see how it ends.
