Create Posts with Calls to Action

This kind of goes into what we're talking about here, creating posts with call toe action, sharing your live video replay. You can share them two pages groups to events on Facebook. You could take any repurpose videos and share, um, in any of these places, and what I like to do is I make unique graphics and banners. This is one of the things that I actually outsource. I am not good a graphic design. I could barely draw a stick, man, I can draw stick men, but that's about it. And so I outsource design and I've got a person. They say, Here's my guest for this show and this is the topic we're gonna be talking about. And she will come up with a cool background and layout and come up with stuff like this that I could, you know, don't put me in front of photo shop. It's not going to go well, but she comes up with this type of stuff for my shows. Now, if you want to do some of your own stuff, for example, you saw the banner that I had for Let me see if I can find it, Yeah, go and switch back ...

to the laptop for just a moment, please, and you'll see when this comes up the top five places to sell your stuff online. I just took a picture of myself with it, and there are APS on your IPhone that lets you do some pretty cool word ology type things with one that I like is called Word Swag, available for IOS. I think it's two or $3 basically you put in your words. And there's all these types, styles and use. Click through them until you find one that works right. You pick the colors, you save the image, and it's not the most professional looking thing. But for the needs of what I had here, it works. Fine. There's another one. If you're on Android device, it's called Pick Lab. PSC L. A. B. And I think canvas got a nap now as well. So there's a lot of different choices for making some cool images. Okay, we'll go back to the keynote, please. So images are powerful when you're promoting your videos. If you're doing a show when you're promoting it in advance, create a nice graphic. If you're not a graphic designer. Don't do it. It's like self published books. Then they have, You know, people have their friends designed the covers, and I could always tell a self published book just by looking at it without even looking at the spine. Because nine times out of 10 it just doesn't feel right. The the the cover, the typeface, the insides, the margins. It just Most self published books are done by people who are doing it themselves, and they don't come outright. And it actually where a book can be your greatest credibility. Razor. I think that's why do so many books because there's so much power in them and that's why live videos. Another reason. Teoh. Another way to build credibility. When somebody does a self published book, I think it actually diminishes their work. If it's not a professionally done quality work, not saying you can't self publish a book. I have seen some that are really well done. But when somebody who's really proud of their work comes out to me and said gives me their book and I think this, I want to tell them this is actually not helping you. The same with graphics don't copy and paste yourself in a photo shop and put text on it. If you don't know if I did that, it would look like that most of time. Only worse. The other one. This is professionally done. These only cost me $7 apiece. I outsource. Yes, you can find people on up work. Um, you know, oh, desk, Wherever these outsource places are, you look for people with solid feedback to do your work. This particular person lives in the Philippines. She's wonderful, actually. Pay her a little more than some most suitable charge, like $5 for it. And she knocks this stuff out. Nothing flat sends me examples, and and I go your wonderful I love you. Don't ever go away and get graphics done. And there's a lot of work you can get done by outsourcing For people who are grateful for the work and for them for the lifestyle they have, it actually converts really well into their currency. So creating graphics for your broadcast, even creating some just in general for your show. If you've got a topical show, let me jump over to my Dropbox, and if we can pull that up here for just a moment. We'll go into my Social Graphics folder right here and let's see J C show. Okay, so here's all these different graphics. I had created four different shows, but I also had her make one That was just standard, right with no guest. So I can just promote watch the Joel Com show for this type of of information. Also do that type of thing for Let's see what happened to Mr Dropbox. Here we go. Um well, just general graphics. Um, I was doing a show recently on another live app called Busker, and I didn't know what I was going to talk about when I did it, but I wanted people to follow me over there and stay tuned for content. So I had this created Find me live. I'm busker exclusive content. I did stuff that you couldn't see anywhere else. So simple banner. But the professionalism makes all the difference, doesn't it? It makes you it increases your confidence that the quality of the content you're going to get is going to match your expectations. And that's really the goal. Unfortunately, we live in a society that were very visual and we do judge books by their cover. I know we're told not to, but we dio why a lot of money is spent on graphic design and on branding because you could be told all day long not to judge a book by its cover. And you might miss out by judging that book by its cover. But we do it anyway, and we're drawn to that which we think is visually appealing. So the moral of that story is do good stuff, right? Okay. Lets go and switch back. Teoh, away from my face is in too many places. We have toe cut that out. So yes, so something. I'm so conflicted about it when you talk about people want riel. I've also heard that people don't really want, like, rial like they don't want to be inspired by pictures. They want to be in spot and with ah, live broadcasting. A lot of, um, I know understand mistakes, and people don't expect perfection, But sometimes the visual may not be like inspiring or like a like a like a poster that you're talking about so clearly, somebody broadcasting in a dark room. It's kind of creepy. What you think about really can't be more specific. Like what? What is real that connects people versus Yeah, I think it comes down to the story that you're telling. This is why story is so important right there. There is definitely a minimum quality if I'm going to go live and I'm talking and the cameras, not even on me. Well, im I'm being really real stupid, right? Because I'm over here, not over there. So there is something to say for minimum content, minimum standards of how you use the tech. You know, unless you're telling, you know Ah, scary story, then you probably want to have some lighting in your room, right? But I think that ultimately people are looking for what's real from here. The tech can suffer some as long as you're able to connect from your heart and tell people a real story. Give them something that is from real life experience. Share your riel struggles, your riel trials and how you overcame them. If we're going for inspiring right, it's all about. I was there. Now I'm here and because I went from there to here, you can too. Here's how that's what it's all about, So I'm not so concerned about quality. I am when it comes to marketing, you know, when you go to a bookstore and you look at the books on the shelf, if you've got two books that can have the equally the same value and content. But one of them looks more enticing than the other, odds are you're gonna pick up the one that looks more enticing. The quality of the content itself could be identical effect. You could take this very same book with the same author's name, and people would know it's the same content. There'll be a fun test. Actually. Tell people these are the same book you can choose. Do you want this one or this one? And I bet you the majority will pick the more attractive, professionally designed cover than the one that isn't
