uld move that chair over there because you're behind the lines he can't see you see on the screen sounds good so keep talking to wake up to the front of the way okay thing he hash miller family you know you boys come with that really well takes a confident man to wear a model good hat she's pretty interesting just was interesting is me yeah theo oh that looks good looks good looks good what his hand up on the side you'll feel more confident yes fine farm around let's go wait your little um keep you around veer what's the noise no come come to the other side waiting meaning okay e yeah just pull that pedal down tell not yet yeah way but they don't we stuff no l'm a court the way quick quick heading him up okay yes come back back and forth net back and forth we got tapes of him you know that's good that's good wait cheating the person got marshmallow chicks makes you a man what a good boy number you're smiling it's really nice to meet you just gorgeous it's your first no second second that our first one actually bigger like three friends figure at this age wow you know heavy was he born just seven he was seven for my other one was a well he's obviously a good feed on love we're going well thanks mary right all right bye darling bye smiling now it's so interesting to see haruo each of them you know I saved different yes they're also cheeks yeah good chicks that kind of fold over the top of them so if some folks asking I wanted to be sure to point out that dawn is cleaning the century material what? Everything between each baby everything is always washing our hands are cleaning we, uh totally all of that, you know, and it's really, really important when the babies come in so that's all good we're covered and and I also wanted to reiterate everybody if we could talk about the side of the urn and that this while the baby's might not used to be used to going inside a little thing like that it's all it's all pettit with so fabric around there and it's got farm in the bottom and all around the top edge off the part here, this fine that's, right? But you can actually see it in the shop, so I know it's great perfectly with it. Look, if the baby is uncomfortable totally apart from the safety issues and you know which we have covered, you know, kind of getting that happened, so it really needs to be like, a little arm chair in there. Some of them don't think so, but I just had a flash of us getting life sized ones. You might want to squeeze yourself in there later and say hi. All right, so we've got three really nice images great, okay, so we have another just about a minute between for the next people tonight go yeah, yeah, yes I'm going teo read off some of the things that people are saying on line we've got some great comments coming through and thank you for these tomorrow productions and photography says the team is so fluid they get their rhythm and the speed at which they have got that baby into the pot really helped amazing again it's been amazing to see over these three days how this team brings ands vision tto life so I think we've got the next baby coming in right outside let's bring her in or him we'll find out who this baby we've got five someone this's oh she's back way no eye contact now this is a family family family nothing's happening let's give it a go and you know what if you don't want to sit in there that's absolutely fine okay yeah she's feeling sick and can't yeah like she wouldn't really sleep it was too much commercial it doesn't make a lot going on so let's just give it a try yeah yeah whatever works she's obviously leaving yeah yeah big time yeah she's always going to swallow that dummy tummy uh can I just say that a strange and new zealand school specifies dumb it's sounds really weird way so shin is a bit of heading general taika sent the plane won't come around this way and I'm just crossing the short way we o k o k just back off and hither you're gonna sit over there yeah no teo yeah wait e o don't think she likes to be castrated yeah spoon but you picture uh simple things in life yeah beating teo getting t o but they don't know that that's true frazer and I know way thinkyou're beautiful women like us e well it's really nice to meet you tio thank you sorry we couldn't get a shot of a bet that's the white gars come back and join here is this a typical age for teething? Yes and that must be make it challenging they get nick ration everything from being constantly damp and she's differently teething really drawing and which is so sweet the west that's a smooth way she loves her mom now talk a little bit more about that dance that you're doing with the moms with this age group where it seems like in the beginning are they joining you but then we got to get them out of the line baby what do you do? How does that work? It depends on the baby and you can see when they come in whether they're looking around and engaging with people and with its bitter for the mom not to be there sometimes it's better for them to be there you know it's all it's just different with every baby yeah it's really nice that all the monster so easygoing and quite happy about whatever is going on so that's really nice and people ask me actually quite a lot to we've ever come across stage mothers and fear very really tio we ever do that you know, a couple of times in really and by stage brothers is that people whose babies are really anxious center source uh never just really really want their baby to be the baby on dh you know, it kind of creates silver attention and you can feel it you know? But everyone here's been so relaxed and there's a sort of just happened so really but it's a question I am often asked you know I mean what you're going to do they don't want to see the new that's fine and we're all relaxed here now because we know that we've got three bodies yes who looked really gorgeous in there so so do you have one that hasn't been in? Yes that's correct me fine alexi, we are waiting tio here about the next baby money power away diva psychology background do you read about psychology or is that just an inmate? You're able your ability to sense what the moms might be thinking what the baby well, I've been a mother myself I am a mother and you know michael's a thirty and twenty eight but I know what it's like and and I know how they feel and and it kind of puts little bit extra pressure on me as well because I feel like I don't want to disappoint them but I think you have to come to terms with the fact that it look with we've tried twice she's so beautiful and she looked so lovely in there but sometimes you seem to look oh it's not gonna happen and I just read it okay we can't sleep so I'm sorry to cut you off coming off and get it but got babies got babies to attend d'oh so I think this is one we have not yet seen round two and it doesn't matter if she doesn't want to do it we'll just give it a try um jonah wayto um what chinstrap like yeah you know what today yeah so we just give her a try and um if you don't want to see the new that's absolutely fine yeah look at this a little bit of luck for us brines booth I could use you she was pretty to say you know I haven't done anything when you got back wait I want a line that I still say this crime wenches sitting in this moment you keep talking to you look at the pretty blue pot huh yeah he's smiling now keep it up hey e e e e yeah who are you claustrophobic okay okay let's let's call the shots okay back and forth and over to the side my tio tio tio no oh my dear what oh hey comes to like pick up she does I think it's a little hand up natalie yeah um no I maybe not paranoia stress for doing his job no way e hey serious flower in there today yeah ah around the side way yeah sorry give me a kiss no sitting in me now got a spot yeah so good so good baby can you just give us what we could girl come back my car careening out now in and out now that's it we owe a great guy she's great linen and it's in closing you take that just like everyone to solve the current o r she's very cute that's right you're very very cute that arm from you for the nice yeah what a good girl people rub your head all the time I bet they do oh that's great we gotta intestine so okay could you say yes yeah you're so beautiful I think that's just dropped on the ground to wake up yes man testing mind just step on the way out is really nice to meet you very much bye so vain is that right? Yeah okay so anyone we haven't tried yes so they say no one expecting come back same way everybody through so we're just just one so good that oliver the final maybe is asleep so we are goingto hold now and we're going to see uh what the plan is and looking for some of the images thoughts so far great I think I'm sorry alright wait come it's great it's worked really well you know it's nice to get the first one and then we've got how many we got now for four for you tried to pour out of fun fortifying yeah which is not bad and it's really nice it yeah that's sabine yes was able to her second yeah just for kate and you know, in a family they're probably watching no absolutely porsche oh, sorry that was that we're twelve we do have a dad that was in the chat room I'm saying that's my baby oh twenty I think it was the first baby is that right stuff first my dad so I just wanted to talk a little bit well waiting to safer if we are gonna have oliver and remind people again about all the prep work that you and your team did yesterday so that today can just be focused on the baby and actually we've got some comments coming in. We asked people in the chat rooms what some of their biggest takeaways have been and wanted to read some of those but talking in a little bit about all that preparation yes a lot went on yesterday afternoon we're here quite late getting the lighting set and everything and we've already photographed the ideal plate with the baby sorry the adults sitting in the park and the beautiful orchids going down the side of the park and as you could see if we had the orchids there they just be grabbing them and yes oh yeah and it's actually because the party is bolted down and so static and the camera position is exactly the same it should be relatively easy tio put the whole scene together so I think it's going to be beautiful lighting is set the lighting is yeah I mean, I can talk about the lining but we've already got you know, people talk about lighting plans and and all that sort of thing and that's all well and good but I mean it's just you have to light it as you see it on the day that's one of the the great things about digital because and I were sees the light meter so I know exactly what each light is doing but it's quite nice to actually have the props sitting in place and then just gradually build it all up, right? So we've got a big main light here, which is a fabulous you know it's just a fabulous like lovely soft and spreads beautifully but you can focus it as well and it's a remind me how big it is it's ah it's asher brown color I'm not bitter to twenty teo on dso and then we've got a uh here like up here which is throwing down onto the hash depending on how the baby's air sitting and also when the orchids were sitting at the side there are little bit translucent the way dawn's actually made them and so it was trapped yeah oh sure yeah grab someone you don't yeah I'm gonna have to show everyone so the way they've been much don't come and talk about your good strong I don't want to talk about your orchids uh come on place kidding yeah, yeah tell everyone about them and what was the sort of the inspiration instruction that you gave to dawn? Well done is come on, don't talk about it because drugs come into the light she does so many original things in very original ways and and I think that's a good thing for her to be able to talk about it how did you make them translucent? Like what if they made off? They're actually made of paper and people I owe you call it a logo on briskly always loathe white woodworking glow but first well, I make it make the each petal out of clay and I duel the veins and all the lumps and things because that's what catches the line? You got your mold growing over there on that table um then I'll make a mold from that out of silicon and after that I make put layers of tissue paper and the globe and then finally on the back I've put a really, really thin silk just give it a bit of strength so that's basically what the rights of the maldonado looks like very cool year so flexible, so it's easy to get in and out and it picks up registers you detail beautifully and so you're thinking about the lights that are going to be hitting the detail although its eyes down a really old spice so we're walking but the real orchids quite watch, but if you're photographing a big white flour like that it's just going like a blob, so I thought if I could get a little bit of lights fluid and there's hope beautiful captain older around yeah, you can call it careful these lovely indentations on it and it seems to work quite well beautiful, which is why we've got the here like there too I actually have some sort of like coming just a tiny little bit coming through the door code and a little bit of field here so the pops got a really nice shape and don't actually for anyone is really into the detail because the this part is coming down directly onto this photographic paper she's actually colored around the bottom of it just so we could get something to work with in photo shop so look a little bit like what I imagined which needs to be a little bit abstract because a zealous a baby in the park with your kids we're going to have you know where the aquarius is a fire sign or no sign or water water sign? Yeah, I don't think it's a, um what you said yeah, so we'll have the symbolism andan course the name aquarius there so it's it's nice to sort of have a ah a link for the pot onto the base so it's like the whole thing through this zodiac serious is that they will look like a serious and beautiful water color paintings. And so now that you can you have we've got a number of babies that you that you have a wonderful images can you can you look over over to the two from past two days on the wall and really just can you now start to see the set come together even even more it's a good example of how we do this right as a form of storytelling? Because now we've got to vivid, more vivid images who got the gorgeous blues of the aquarius apart and the bright yellows when we get them all three up everyone's going to see this afternoon off the sunflower for leo the lion and its thie areas it's more subtle, you know with earthy tones but it's still fit in I've done a couple of calendars you know we're our own worst critics but we look at some of the old calendars and go oh, we should have done this and that and and so on so you know everyone needs to get better at what they do is they go on through their career so I don't think I'm at my peak yet I don't think you are either know every time we do something we're tryingto slightly differently yeah if you tell my attacker a prop by trying to think of a sort of lift its center why to do it I'm just doing it the most obvious and easiest way yeah it's like the lion is not quite often when we're doing a calendar that we tend to use a lot of one particular method like this when I use a lot of paper pva and down the garden I'm down the garden colleen it's a flashback under the sea under the sea it was completely different media that I used and it gives a different effect at the end you get a different look at is the sea was probably biggest propping it was a big popping one project we've done and the one before that was a wall it gets cold yes we had a calendar called hot film which was some people would still have it on their walls now on dh everything all of the crocks in all of the images apart from the baby's, everything is war whether it's a pretty cool with your melting melting yeah, I'm sorry when you cross people out there but yeah, it was entirely made from wool, so I'm just getting there and get the update we always have people grab, differ that's all kinds of people out there who have been loving seeing all the different aspects of your team working together. It's great, what you've got to think in an original way, it's, as dawn said, don't tio, don't just go towards the obvious straightaway and that's what we try not to do but nature's a big guide you're different, you're a lot of inspiration. Um getting up close to the subject I'd like if I'm doing an orchid, are gone by them and have a really good look at it pull it apart I pulled all the petals apart, worked out the shapes of them and what actually makes an orchid and awkward, you know? Because you know there are certain things that what does make an orchid orchid? Well, I think a lot of it was actually the this really subtle bridging and of course, this beautiful piece in the middle of hold it up to that light people khun c can you get the effective uh, you know, I can really see through it when when when I know a moth or could flower starts to wilt and die that I thought were at their most beautiful I was a person into books that I'm reading yeah in fact I have I have one on a plane a couple of weeks ago it was different colored one of the purple orchids and I pressed between the pages and forgotten it was there and so I'm sitting on the lawn playing always last time I was here in seattle I was going back to new york and I opened it and it fell on my lap and I was like, oh, I thought it was a spider actually have under the sea oh yeah I mean it that just so you know the baby was feeding are all of us the way we always was a weak feeding we're trying to see if he's going to stay awake so waiting everyone under the sea is the calendar that's out now it's it was just a major major project that we did and you know I have a mask on have a look because it's really nice to actually see wait calendar when it's out that way go seo come and talk about the props strong, passionate stur and this is this is great because, uh this is two thousand fifteen come on, come on she doesn't like talking about it yeah, I think it's a good idea. This it sit in the middle. Okay, you can talk about all of this, so we're gonna talk about the problem, but just in case the babies do the baby oliver does come. You were ready to let people know that this is from under the sea. I mentioned earlier that there are you provided to images that from this piece of work that people can download when they do purchase this whole experience and that could be used as wallpaper. So those haven't even been been senior. So let's, let's talk about us. Well, when I first consumed under the sea, dawn was like, I'm going to let the cat out of bag, hear things like all as gordon colors. Like full on hush your mouth goodness, may and over. And you look at what's down there, it's. Absolutely fascinating. So the way we wanted it. Mm. I took a little bit cranky. As you know, that term must determine america. Little bit baggy. You're a little bit so no perfect bit off kilter. Okay, you know, yeah, a little bit. Like, come, uh, a pantomime. Like a school pantomime? Yeah, a shot, so she's wearing a shower cap, they should do your own thing. That was hard to come up with was no we're gonna put on a head because you don't want to use a wig way had all sorts of serious illustrations yeah and finally resettled on this yeah, which was a nightmare to make what was all about another sees all about color yes, she was grumbling a bit at the beginning come on now we can do it way that's how we grow, right? Yes, I pushing her so oh yeah exactly it's good, because every project I'm I tend to learn a new method on dh I tend to push the medium public further than it should go like this medium really wasn't designed to be you so thinly these air just actually filled with fear oh wow they're just like little soft kicks you lt's not there because we have to keep everything so like you can't do a heavy head peace on the baby needs to be really comfortable play with us so what was it a love that was hand painted all of the um that was nice of them organza that was hand painted and it was laid over the top of a bright yellow lycra and it just gives it that little bit of movement and looks a little bit more like scales and this was all organza as well which have actually stiffened and hand pain pain painted lines on you I can't. I can't really see it. But oliveira is on this way.

I just read the other reviews and think people may not have watched the preview video or listened to Kenna's explanation of what was going to happen. I felt the class was exactly what was advertised, and thought Kenna did an excellent job keeping things moving when there were obvious delays or unexpected events with "the talent" (the babies). I felt like I was at Anne's studio and experiencing what actually happens when she is working on a project. You can't script babies and pets, so you go with the flow and adapt. I think that's what they said and did. Kenna was always prepared to discuss Anne's books, or other topics and did a great job getting personal/and professional with Anne-just as they said they were going to. It is Creative "Live" so it could have been Much less organized, and much more chaotic, but I was actually Very impressed with the production and smoothness of the Creative Live team. I did feel like my view was blocked at times when I wanted to see how they were setting up some of the actual shots- but in general I think they did just about as well as you could in those conditions. I am not paid by Creative Live nor do they probably even know me, but I'm very happy to support and actually buy their content-because I don't know another place/format that teaches so many different, practical, and interesting topics as they do and I Love that they take chances like this and really do Deliver. Anne was very clear that she is not a technician. Creative Live has Tons of Great Technician classes in So many genres of photography (and of course other area)- with Anne's class there is Plenty to Learn from her, but the value does not come in the Wam Bam machine gun delivery of latest tech and tools, it is in the methodical, patient, But Driven pace that is anything but chaotic (as one reviewer said). As I said at the beginning, I think they delivered exactly what was advertised and I am very happy with my purchase. There is a wealth of information and frankly entertainment, for someone who is interested in really seeing behind the doors... AND, it is good for new people and experienced people, who are looking to get better in their craft, more successful, or maybe even famous-if they are honest...to see that not every day in a studio (or in any profession really)-Even for Anne Geddes- is Glamourous, Exciting and "Sexy": sometimes it is crying babies that need their diapers changed.

I had the honor of supporting Anne in her launch of her beautiful line of baby clothing here in Washington ( as her fulfillment provider ) and her attention to every detail, their willingness to share their commitment to an unforgettable experience for every customer - it was such a pleasure to see the magic on the photography side of the business that I never had the opportunity to witness. Pure perfection, and thank you so much for sharing. Best to Anne and Kel! Michelle Harden

Watched the first day of this event and it was very different than other creative live workshops. Different is sometimes good and sometimes bad, this session was just that good and bad. It really lacked the teaching aspect, they did not go over her equipment, basic camera and lighting settings used to create the look she wants in her images etc...The lady who was interviewing her was terrible Anne seemed really open to share but the questions were very poor and lacked follow up and really diving into what Anne was doing. It was really neat to get to watch her work, she has an amazing personality that really is soft and kind and it showed in the way she worked with the parents, babies, and her team. It was a great overview of how she approaches the studio and a project and the detail that goes into making a top notch image. It is however weak on giving you the info strait up on how to improve your own work. If you want to see what it's like to work with a big team on a major project this is a great workshop. If you want technical teaching it is not so great.
