Hello, the Internet and welcome to our next creativelive. Today we have Laura shoe. Somebody's got their volume on. This is why we do pre show banter way. We're really excited to have Laura shoe. We like to call her light room, Laura, and she's here for three days of Adobe Photoshopped light room for training. This class is also going to be relevant to you. You are still using light room three and Laura will go go through that. My name is can a Klosterman. I'll be your host today along with my new co host in Italian. Toto, Toto, Welcome to tell you. Thank you. And really excited to be here and huge creative life fan. So this is a thrill for me. And I'm looking forward to learning so much more about leg room. Fantastic. Well, we're excited to have you on Italia has been off screen check hosting helpless, helping us out. But we are happy to have you here. So, Laura 01 more thing. We're going to do a little bit of pre show banter. The official program will start at nine. So let us know if...

you can see us and hear us in the chat room. All right, Laura. Welcome. Welcome. Thank you. It's great to be here. Thanks to creative life with this great opportunity. I'm really looking forward to this, uh, three dates. And I appreciate the studio audience being willing. Teoh be held hostage for three days, said, I hope everybody out on the web and here and here in the studio audience gets a lot out of these three days. So fantastic. Fantastic. So we wanted Teoh introduce our studio audience. We have more than six photos, six photo, six people joining us here today, which is fantastic. We're looking forward to getting to know you and also having you ask your questions as well as the folks online who were gonna be asking your questions too. So we start over here, your name and what you're I'm Trudy Montgomery, and I am excited to learn light room for because I am still using light room to Hello. I'm Nicole Connor. Um, I come from Wenatchee. Washington. So not too far away. Um, I'm with Trudy. I'm still in light room to also so very excited to learn light room for Hi, I'm Daniel, from Omaha, Nebraska. Um, I'm excited about just being here. I'm really excited. Hi, I'm Sara. I live in Seattle and I'm used light room three. I'm very excited to learn light room for and I've never had a light room class at all. So this is very exciting. Hi. I'm Laurie on a Dobbin Speck with Glory Ana Marie Photography in Kitsap County. And I'm really excited to be here, And I use light room three and I've never taken a class on light room, so I'm excited. Good morning. I'm Sarah Vanagas Doll. This is my first professional white room class, so I'm really excited. I've been self taught, so this is awesome to be here. And I'm looking forward, Teoh getting a better workflow, going, saving some time. Um, I have a business there of and hostile photography, and I'm just really excited to be in the Creative Life studio this morning. Thanks. Good morning. My name is when I'm from Seattle. My background is in theater and design, and, uh, this is my first time ever using light room. I just downloaded the free trial last night. I love that Some of you have had no light room workshops. No expectations, you know? So it eases up the pressure. I am Neil David, portrait family and music photographer based in San Francisco. And I've been using light room since Second Virgin. Just catching up with the fourth Virgin. Loving it for landscapes, struggling with it for people. So I'm kind of excited. Teoh, learn how to work without a little bit better. Hi, I'm Lesley Saber. I teach intro the digital photography, so I'm pretty familiar with light room three. Excited for the new features that, like book publishing and things that light Room four has to offer. Good. Hi. I'm James McDaniel from Seattle. Um, I'm a photography enthusiast. I've played around with White Room three, but Varian should in going from, you know, uh oh, look at all these controls and all these fiddly knobs you know I want to go from I have this photo. I want to make this happen. Where do I go in the interface to adjust the exposure to just to make the shot that much better. I'm photography enthusiast and also have a found photography project that I'm working right now. Really looking forward to some. Thank you. Yeah. I find that I always have a mix of students from people that are just starting with light room. Haven't even opened it up yet to people that have been using it for a long time. And and people always seem to walk away getting a lot out of the course, regardless of what level they come in. So I think I'm gonna be addressing everything you guys have talked about. And we'll do well, Fantastic. Well, we still have a couple more minutes. And the very cool thing about creative lives that we have folks joining us from all over the world. So let us know in the chat room where you are joining us from maybe what time it is there. If you're new to light room or losing four. What have you where, folks joining us from the value that we have from Lexington, South Carolina, Central Texas, Scotland, New Jersey, Barbados. Which is where I'd like to be right now. Moscow. We have Panama. It's 11 a.m. In Panama. We have Manila, Nova Scotia, India. Irving, Texas. Barcelona is Lisbon, Portugal, Minneapolis, Vancouver Just up by five from us Paris. I'd like to go there to Alberta, Poland. Danielle Dunlop. Daniel Daniel Daniel is in the audience is where he's joining us from. Amsterdam, Puerto Rico. See, Columbia, Missouri. Um, Indianapolis. Finland Rights. Yeah, over the world. So I have to tell you that my mother's theory was wrong. I was telling her that I was a little bit nervous about this with the cameras and the big audience. And she said, You know, there may very well be nobody out there, so why worry about, you know? So I could see that's not the case in a lot of people Call Mama break no Hillary and non Oh, these amazing places. So it's wonderful.

Great workshop! New to Lightroom and found it very helpful. Saved me a couple hundred dollars and time by not taking an evening LR class. Creative Live workshops match my learning style perfectly. Laura is awesome! My only complaint is maybe Laura can use a PC next time which is what she seems more comfortable using. Her shortcut mix-ups on a Mac were making me a bit dizzy :)

I cannot express enough how impressed I was with Laura and this class. I learned more in the 3 days of this workshop than I did in all 6 weeks of a class I took online that cost three times as much. I left not only impressed by the class but MOST importantly - refreshed and energized to put my new knowledge to use! Thank you for that!!!

Excellent workshop bar none. I learned more about Lightroom than I did from any other tutorial/workshp that I previously encountered. Thanks Laura!
