Show & Tell
We went through, you know, all these different pieces company overview is really the business vision and values you've done, the crowding your creative cohorts, the's air kind of the typical sections that go into the traditional plan. So lo and behold, you guys have actually done the legwork of things that go into a traditional plan, the managing them well, a financial plan, there may be some fine tuning and tweaking for anyone wanting to go for the funding, and so if you're wanting to do that, you and now have someplace to start to maybe work with an mba student to do some more financial modeling. Or maybe you just need to talk to, you know, your cousin who is a cfo at a company who might be able to give you some inside tips or just, you know, talking through with some friends to kind of like we were doing with caitlin, you know, we could have taken that segment a lot more and just given the time we weren't able to go to that level of detail, but you guys kind of got the sense of how ...
to start breaking down when you know the big number and then chunking it into smaller ones and how many people you would need at what price to get to that number, so we've done those pieces business landscape was the competitive analysis piece and the marking plan was that getting the word out so if you're wanting tio go for funding, which I get the sense that probably that's a small percentage of those watching but what you need to do is then translate the visual plan into a written document that investors and grant people are used to sing so it's basically taking your right brain thinking, translating into the language they understand so that they can understand the value that they're offering for them to say yes, I'm going to give you money, but the great thing is you've done a lot of the legwork and thinking about what needs to happen, what are all the pieces that go into making this profitable business and then just having someone else put it in the template that maybe you don't want to be dealing with, right? But I imagine that might not be the case for most people watching, but in case that's for you, you can also hire someone to help you with that. Okay, so I just want to make sure we cover that because I know that comes up a lot. Um, I think it's really important to make sure you are maintaining the momentum we've covered so much here, right? We want to make sure that we're continuing to move forward, and so here just some tips for how to do that put your right brain business plan where you can see it so I know that I asked the in studio people to you know have them here so you know even just have them open right now as we're closing out the workshop and you know take a look at it take it in see how far you've come um share your plan you guys obviously have been doing that throughout this workshop here in studio and online sharing all your tweets and instagrams of your right bring business plans so continue to do that continue to share your plan I shared with you know, your new creative cohorts that you found here in this virtual community during these three days share with the folks in your life you know, maybe share it with your family or your spell so they understand you know what you're working on share it with the people who might become strategic partners or people who are going to be on your team and that will help give them a sense of what you're about make sure you're asking for help so that you can continue moving forward you don't have to go it alone I love this of doing quarterly check ins we don't have the calendar they're anymore what's behind there but that's a great way of you know after each quarter checking in you know did you hit that mullah goal did you hit the goals that you I had set out for that quarter and there's actually a quarterly check in play sheet in the book that has kind of a stop start continue model that you can use to do that and celebrate your successes right on that's. Always great to do anything. Sometimes we move too fast on we forget to celebrate. So I want to take some time here to make sure that you guys are celebrating so I'd love for you to just take a moment and, uh, write down three things that you want to acknowledge about your progress, okay? And there's some other questions here too. If you want to take him on. What are you most proud of? What have you learned about yourself through your business? But the simplest want to do here is, you know, three things you want to acknowledge about your progress here. And for those of you online, please share those in the chat as well. You know, some of the things that I've seen, so we could just do this first one the three things you want acknowledge their celebrate during these three days. And if you come up with to that's totally fine. If you come up with five that's great three is just a suggestion, okay, whether some online that would like to give voice to yes, ok, bring it on let's, see, I odd says who has been with us, I believe, for all three days saying that says I want to celebrate being smarter, empowered and determined suite yes, indigo says into go, cassie says, I finished my right brain business plan inspired to afford even with all my fears, knowing that their normal I felt like company able to talk to others about my business this weekend, I felt confident, even coolest iq, fantastic day leaves rue says, clarity, enlightenment, visionary, energized and inspiring. Beautiful. We also have ah, michelle from the uk who is actually one of your facilitators, michelle, right making a start this weekend and we lost it because there's so many coming in and start giving myself this time setting this time and having a plan that I love beautiful and deb killed a ford says, just wanted to celebrate one thing, which is the fact that I really get it now. Yes, that means you're right bringing entrepreneur yes, all of that. The thing I really love about that in particular, is because, you know, we covered so much today and the two days before that, and we may not have been able to get every single detail, and actually what you have is the most important thing, a new way to think about approaching business new permission to give yourself so that you can do this on your own and take it deeper because even if you finished your whole right bring business plan I talked about how you can use this process for particular pieces of your business, right? So when you do the podcast packaging of that for the mullahs making thing you can kind of take yourself through some of these processes using francis as a example see, you guys have the tools and you've learned that and I think that's the most important takeaway is this is a repeatable process you can take yourself through now you guys have the permission to do it in a fun way yes yeah we have joanna w that she was able to celebrate her big vision collage get some clear ideas around branding and she opened her male chip account connected with rebecca is night audience now she has a clear picture of numbers and financial goals finally she's owning entrepreneurship wow who are serious here? I love it. You know people have been paying attention and taking action square root photo says that she's celebrating her he's celebrating I can think about money without hyperventilating oh my gosh is great and that help is out there and, you know cool some really powerful transitions that have happened and it really goes to show that putting in the time and effort and making it fun but showing up and connecting can make all of these light bulbs go off so I've loved teo you know here from this the in studio folks and if you could also show us your big vision collage and then share you know, if you want to share all three great if you just want to highlight one that's fine too but it's going to help this is kind of the closing rapidly get teo kind of see where you've come from day one, so sharing the collage and then you know, one of things that you are proud of him that you've accomplished all star great got so thie biggest thing for me is that I have a plan now and I'm not a planner general overall workshop thing it's awesome to have a plan on dh through that you've helped me make sense of everything and now I have a clear vision and purpose and goals that I can set and take action towards so it made me realize that everything is like totally attainable super overwhelming I didn't start on dh then finally for me, the connection and support with other on gathers has been key I hope to continue that with you guys and you know locally and bolder and with other people as well thank you I love to hear from everyone here in the studio audience do so I can go so I feel like I got a lot out of this weekend and my brains a little on the fried rice that's no it's not all going toe I don't it doesn't need to be on our show enough like my left brain in the a form of words very well but luckily my right brain produced my vision plan so that helps I do feel like this workshop was so tremendously inspiring and empowering and gave me new tools teo help address the plan that I really needed to have and have been missing but you know it was just so boring to do it in the past so this was really a fun way to process and I just really enjoyed connecting with everybody in the studio and on the web cast so amazing just how you can see just from the picture here it's been produced how powerful it is to have a community of well intending people because there's so much brilliance and each of us and that's why we have to get our gifts out there totally and that's why we have to share just with each other because we grow faster and stronger together as a team I'm looking forward to see what kind of collaboration happens after this experience they can go forth into the goodness that's right right on sister okay this's my vision boyer toe and I think the overriding theme for me, for this workshop is just taking that next step, and I think so many times we get, like, paralyzed with taking the next step because we feel like we need to know every every step that is after that, and I think this workshop really helped us get it all out and then no, you know, you can take baby steps and you can get to it and not to fret, and then you gave us a lot of tools of how to really work through that fear and work through that, the different reasons that paralyzes, so I just feel like we all have so much to give that I don't think it's fair when when we put those eliminate, you know, when we do that to ourselves, so thank you so much, and everyone here for just contributing it just made it such a richer experience and, you know, we got to learn from each other, so I'm so yeah, that was one of mine, so I'm really proud of just taking that chance and pushing yourself. And then, um, um and then just taking action yeah, I think yes, great, I can't say thank you enough, I told you and teo the group online it's, so, uh a fifteen tio through this process and I hope to share this with any friends I have that might be struggling tio can't wait to read your book from back I think I um I'm no longer afraid to push through and reach my goals which is you know takes old fog out on all that scariness it just brought a lot of clarity and uh I think I think this will take the stumbling blocks that I put my head and crumble up you know I'm ready now just it's it's good thank you everyone the kathy sensitive that list so going um so thank you um let yourself feel it really like enjoy it so and I'm really excited tio I'm finally committee into writing and teaching that which is so expect him on and it's what everyone this mentally meteo including myself believe allowing itself to see that and I'm really most proud that this process is be able tio give me the boy um it was able I was able to give voice to what really resonates at my core to a global audience yeah way feel like that the first thing um and really let my left brain chill out they really actionable plan andi think really just like owning like that I've turned into this urban hippy school you can't you should take you to your room here really amazing just to be in this process of you yeah I just uh I'm just super surprised that everything happened the way it did you know, like I said, I did not expect enjoy this process way like our skeptics and good yeah for me there were so my three is you know, coming here and vocalizing divorce cafe what what I enjoy is the journey from hallucinations I think this is just an idea you know that it's been incubating for six to eight months and now it's action on over the last couple days the action was you know, the launching of a landing page facebook page and twitter and you know, people are talking, they're communicating we have an advice columnist now women are sharing their stories already on dh that's just feels like something's starting to happen definitely in israel and its concrete and it's because of this workshop you know? So that was the catalyst on, you know, the connections made here in seattle very, very strong yeah uh, you know, even though we all have different goals and we don't have different talents, there is a spirit that is that unifies a six and I think with some of the people out there who are watching your workshop is your audience so it's nice to be part of that community I feel a lot of positive affirmation yeah and it's been a wonderful fourth yeah, really great oh, gosh, yeah, let's, give everyone a hand here for all of the divisions that have come to life. I don't know if there's any thing and chat, we want to acknowledge their anyone wants to share there once again, as people have been saying all weekend, and he says, really big, thank you to the studio participants. They were all very brave. I've seen other credit by classes, but this one really required that they put themselves out there into the public, and people have been leaving you individual shout outs as well, and really connecting, really connecting. So thank you again, yeah, thank you. I didn't realize that, so that's, so cool that that you guys, really we're able to be vulnerable, and it really isn't that place of, like, vulnerability and sharing, that the connection gets even deeper so.
