Driving Traffic To Your Site

We've been talking a lot about how to drive traffic to YouTube. Question that I have in a few people in the chat room. We're asking about how to use YouTube. Specifically drive traffic elsewhere. Right? How to drive to your website your bog because it's fine. They've been a couple questions about, like, How are you making money if it's not through monetizing YouTube? Well, the whole point of this course is in the title, which is how to grow your business through Facebook. So you're taking your money through our through YouTube. Thank you. I think the question you know, the idea is you're making money somehow, whether you're a photographer, whether you're selling craft, whether you're, you know, a speaker, whatever it is, whether you're a personal consultant organizer, whatever it is, you have your business and your using YouTube to support that. How do you drive traffic to another? Well, I mean, I guess, to take a really long answer and try and simplify it. How do you grow your busines...

s customers? How do you get customers? You'll have to do something to attract them. What can you do to attract them? Show up at their door and knock a bunch of times or invite them. Teoh. I don't know whatever put flyers on their cars. There's all sorts of old school ways to market, and we know the most effective way into that. 15 is through social media and all these great platforms. So if we want to attract customers but authentic customers, I'm not saying people that you're bribing with giveaways and paying for with paid post. What are you going to do that's going to make them excited? Customers engage customers, lasting customers? What are you going to dio build relationships? Yeah, I know you guys don't have mikes, but everything that we just talked about for the last two days coming up with content that's valuable to people. Solving problems, having connection, building connection through experiences and stories, teaching them how to do things, teaching them how to fix things, teaching them how to feel a certain way, helping them gain order and structure in their homes and their lives, helping them make their homes look more beautiful, helping them feel more happy and healthy at home and teaching their kids to eat more healthy. I mean, I can go through every single one of you guys giving people memories with their Children, these air, all helpful ways to the customer that turn it right back around for you. You help them, they help you, you help them. They're happy to give you their money for your service, for your product. For your information, they're happy to exchange that for you. So that's how you do and all. After this question, I'll actually get into a few more specific things that are a little bit more tricky and kind of like a separate class. But we'll get you thinking I just want to share a just finished reading jab, jab, jab. Right, hook on. So that talks a lot about ways that you can just keep giving and keep giving and giving. And then in the end, your audience is going to be like, Oh, my gosh, how can I give you money to show my appreciation for all that you've given me? So that's a great leader. Approach it. And I think that YouTube isn't amazing. Venue to drat. To just give and give again. Yeah. I mean, that book is from Gary Vaynerchuk. He is on YouTube and he kills it and slays on YouTube. He has established his authority in spades, and because of that he's been able to sell out a ridiculous amount of books. And he gets paid top dollar to speak at massive business conferences and every kind of conference, to be honest all over the world. And guess what he started as he sold wine, he took over his family wine business, and they started talking about that wine on YouTube. What? Thanks for tying that together. You know who else is really big on that Simon Senate? He is all about giving and serving the people. And you know what he does. He offers so much unbelievable, valuable information and always having e books and things on his website. And of course, I am there immediately to get it. And does he charge me for it? No. Does he give it to me for free if I want? What he does is if you find this valuable, you can pay me whatever you want. Do you think I'm putting a dollar or $5? No, I mean, like 20 for a one page. I don't know infographic because you're happy to do it, because they give you so much, they make you feel something. They make your life better and you want to thank them for that. Thank them for that by giving them your service by giving them what helps them. We would love to hear those specific kind of tips about, like people were wondering, Do you hyperlink your business website address in the movie or in the video? Do you put it in the comment? Um, love to hear a little bit of those and then keep going on. Perfect. Do you want me to take a question? So to answer the question, I mean, I've seen a couple of you do it where you're like, like subscribing comment on my video. Thank you. Tell me why. Why am I doing that? What do we get out of it? I mean, unfortunately, that is everybody's mentality. Naturally, that's in that whole extra click or two clicks. Will it be worth it to me? So you, by offering them value, that's when they're like, yeah, that was so awesome. And then they'll share it and so on. But YouTube is amazing. You can put so many links as many links, is you want really in the description box, and recently they have a new type of annotation. Essentially, they call him Card, where they will let you, like, click a link that takes you away from YouTube. They have not done this ever. So this is really exciting where you can actually put a link to your website or a specific product that you're talking about, and it will let them go there, which is just great. Ah, couple of things that I dio I won't say. I'm going to tell you about this product so exciting you should buy, and this is why I like it and you should buy it, and this is how I use it and you should buy it. I tell him about it. I tell him how it's changed my life or I related experience or this or that. And of course, I will include the wink, and then maybe I'll follow up. Or I'll do a case study of an experience where a screenshot of my friends text and how her reaction the next morning, when she woke up after trying this facial cream that I told her that is going to convert way more Oh, my gosh, Your friend had that reaction and it's your friend. She trusts you, which makes me trust you, which makes me want to click on your link a whole lot more, and you're just subtly putting it out there. You're not forcing them. Don't forget every single time to, like, click and subscribe and link and share it on Facebook and email your mom and call your family re union. I mean, there will just go on. They have, like, a whole five minutes feel, and it's the same at the end of every video. It's just, like, do all of this stuff for me. Remember in the script where said one called Action, Make it meaningful, Make it count. Maybe you just say, Hey, I wrote this book and I was so nervous to write it. So I'm just putting on Amazon for now. But the 1st 100 people are 1st 10 people who read it and leave feedback. I'm gonna send you three copies for your friends. Anybody who's writing a book or has written a book knows that those Amazon reviews are everything, and that's a great way like of being really This was the hardest thing I ever did writing a book. So I just wanted to go and read the first page of it, cause they will usually give you an expert and Exor of your book on Amazon and tell me what you thought. And if you like there, if you think you would read it or if you know somebody who would read it there way more likely to do that. And then when you're done watching this video, go to Amazon. Type in the name of this book by it. Take a home, read the whole thing, come back to Amazon, leave your review, tell me how you liked it on there and then tell your friends to believe me. You guys going to do that? Do you want to do that? Do you want to be the friend or the neighbor or the business owner? That does that? Absolutely not. Now we also have some amazing that I'll just touch on. Technology is crazy. Awesome. There's a company called Fix Your Funnel. I'm huge infusion soft user. If you don't know what it is, it's a CRM management where you can I mean, if you want to do a newsletter or email subscriber base. Oh, Mama, is that thing customizable? I've spoken out their massive conference twice. It is like I don't know the most empowering thing you can experience, and they teach you proper ways of promoting and talking to people without over selling. But there's all these really interesting things that you can do, like getting a phone number. That's not a real phone number that you can put in your YouTube videos and say, Hey, text me what I can text, whipping, kick. Text me your questions and I'm going to get to him in all, answering them in my next video. This is fixed. Your funnel, If you're if you're wondering, fix your funnel funnel. You can get a phone number, you can get multiple phone numbers, and then they also just came out with live SMS. So not only will it act is a Web form basically like a lead capture of text, me and you can set up a few like automated responses. You can also set parameters of when you can text. People live back from your computer. They're texting from their phone. They feel like they they're texting you live and you're responding life or it could be somebody on your team who's helping you and your tag teaming. How cool would it be at the first Tuesday of every month? I'm gonna take minutes to answer anybody who text me on this number between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mountain. Standard time. I'm talking all answer questions about how to make healthy food for your kids. How to, like, keep your kids contain while you're exercising. I'll show you how to apply your nail wraps in less than 30 minutes, or I'll show you how to get into left wing anything like that. I am in a text that type of customer service. I'm gonna text so fast and then not only are you engaging with them in real time making real relationships with them, but it also saves their information. So there comes a time where there's something else that you want to promote. You can send them an email just like, Hey, remember that one time we were texting that was so one. But anyways, I was emailing you today because I remember when we were talking. Dot, dot dot right

I enjoyed the class and learned many useful things I didn't know before. There are changes I would suggest. Too much time was spent viewing and critiquing existing videos. Demonstrating one (or more) of the free editing programs would be more helpful for beginners than showing how to use an expensive paid software. The information on selecting keywords should come earlier in the program (and SEO needs to be explained for those who don't know what it is and why it matters). More time should be devoted to editing info. More time should also be spent on the whole uploading process and on monetizing videos (and the benefits of doing that). Whippy is charming and knowledgeable but she had a tendency to get sidetracked on her own agenda (like searching for exactly when a company viewed her contest video). A general comment - it was hard to spend two full consecutive days watching this. I'm glad it fit my schedule but that was just lucky.

Well worth the time if you want to add videos to your business mix and don't know how to get started. Becki knows her stuff and makes each step easy to grasp, even for non-techies. I love her keep-it-simple approach and her positive outlook. The content was solid. Her delivery made it fun to learn.

Absolutely fabulous! Tons of down-to-earth info on YouTube, recording a video, editing a video, working within the parameters of YouTube's functionality, and much more. Whippy is knowledgeable and experienced. She shares her knowledge willingly, with humor, compassion, and integrity. It's the best course I've seen on CreativeLive, and I've seen many.
