Finalizing the Script
I want to know. What else do you guys think I should be talking about in the video tomorrow, suggesting a like a inspirational. How to get someone to make a change, like inspiring someone to make a change of some kind? Yeah, this is so this past weekend, my mystery Monday I actually took. I missed a couple weeks from Mystery Monday because I was traveling and they, you know, let's work to create content. And that's something that you will come across when you're making videos, especially when you make an appointment video, which we'll talk about later in the value of doing that. But you will lose steam, or you will get interruptions and people will start to expect it like you owe them. And one thing like I want Teoh, I guess late with you, just plain a little bit is that comes with the territory. I mean it. It sucks sometimes because they will get mad at you for doing sponsored posts. But then, how old are you supposed to make money from the videos? So be aware that that will become an...
issue. The more consistently, or the more strict your expectations are with them, the more they will hold you to it. Um, but to her example, this last week I opened it up. I'm like, I'm feeling like I don't know what you guys want and that maybe sometimes I just talk about superficial things too much. What do you guys want to hear from me? Are you okay with me? Just kind of running through a bunch of new products that I found in telling stories. Do you want more from me? And we had a lot of people that were like, I love just the like randomness of the tips and the product reviews from your mystery Monday. But I would love a little pick me up. So a lot of people gave a lot of feedback of wanting motivational Monday so that I love that she said to include something more motivational because that was what I wanted todo in my next mystery Monday video. So I'm gonna go ahead and use this most recent experience and talk about negative comments. They happen, right? So what's my advice? They happen? We know that that's not gonna change Kyler. You want to say something best thing to do it because since I'm so young and like, like some of the watchers, you just have to let a pass, like, negative comment. You just gotta let it pass. It doesn't matter. She's someone on a computer. How do you know that? Only 11. Oh, my goodness. Yes. Just let it let it pass. Don't feed into it. Um, I personally feel like, kind of like we were talking about earlier. My advice. What I gave earlier is exactly what I would love to say in my mystery Monday to my audience because, yeah, we're gonna have commenters online, but they might have. I have teens that are in the school and high school who have bullies at school making negative comments. Maybe they have a sibling making negative comments. Um, so I would love to talk about how you need tohave your response drilled into your brain of what you're going to dio, you know, and how you're gonna react and how you'll move on how you'll make sure that it does not set a time when I'm gonna care for five minutes and then move on. So that comment doesn't prohibit me from moving forward. Um tak rate comment. The suggestion from that be in the chat room. Who said favorite makeup for live on camera presentations to look natural. Like what we're doing here? Yeah, absolutely. So she is she asking me or saying that I should talk about that? I think that's so perfect because it fits the audience. I already share with them beauty and makeup tips, and it's so relevant to what I'm doing. I'm on creativelive in front of all these cameras. I wear different makeup in front of whites because they make your Mount Meggett melt. Maybe in this particular case, I'll wear a specific primer to help prevent that. So mega tips for production and presentation. I love that. And, um, I tend to always overshare I will keep going. I just want to, like, tell you everything. So I I always want to have a good time limit, and I actually will probably win. If I'm really scripting, this will probably move the makeup tips before a lipstick. Darn it, There we go. So, um, I'm gonna say different primer, right? And, um, makeup male melting. I'll talk about how that's a problem. And then guess what that Segways into ballistic and the color I'm wearing is a realistic I got there we go Segways into my next talking point. Um, a lot of times when I'm doing mystery Monday, I won't word for word a intro because I want them to be mysterious and like, what? Is she gonna if you go and watch all my mystery? Monday's I'm usually doing something weird or like dancing because they're always recording when? I don't know. But I am, Really? I mean, yes, I want to look refined and pretty, but first and foremost, big nerd, Really awkward. And I love to laugh. So I'm gonna laugh. I'm gonna do me. And if it makes other people laugh, then double win. But if this was a tutorial or something, I would absolutely have a more refined, um, intro plant and, in fact, maybe to kind of just for experience weekend for the intro have some sort of beginning shot plan where it's just my face and then zooms out. And it's this big set and I'm establishing where Matt? Hey, in this mystery Monday, guess what? I'm somewhere new. I'm not on my couch. I'm doing this often thing. So in that case, I'm gonna move creative live up here because that's where we're gonna start intro slow pan out to set. There we go. Ok. Wow. I really can't. Um and then I would end with my call to action. If we're gonna end on the serious note of bullying, I'm gonna say, you know what? There's enough hatred in the world. I challenge you to go out and leave a comment that nice go counterbalance some of that crap that people are putting out there. And then you know what people are gonna be like. I'm not gonna be panicked after lines stunned. Is it resonating? You like it too?

I enjoyed the class and learned many useful things I didn't know before. There are changes I would suggest. Too much time was spent viewing and critiquing existing videos. Demonstrating one (or more) of the free editing programs would be more helpful for beginners than showing how to use an expensive paid software. The information on selecting keywords should come earlier in the program (and SEO needs to be explained for those who don't know what it is and why it matters). More time should be devoted to editing info. More time should also be spent on the whole uploading process and on monetizing videos (and the benefits of doing that). Whippy is charming and knowledgeable but she had a tendency to get sidetracked on her own agenda (like searching for exactly when a company viewed her contest video). A general comment - it was hard to spend two full consecutive days watching this. I'm glad it fit my schedule but that was just lucky.

Well worth the time if you want to add videos to your business mix and don't know how to get started. Becki knows her stuff and makes each step easy to grasp, even for non-techies. I love her keep-it-simple approach and her positive outlook. The content was solid. Her delivery made it fun to learn.

Absolutely fabulous! Tons of down-to-earth info on YouTube, recording a video, editing a video, working within the parameters of YouTube's functionality, and much more. Whippy is knowledgeable and experienced. She shares her knowledge willingly, with humor, compassion, and integrity. It's the best course I've seen on CreativeLive, and I've seen many.
